When you live in Hampton, you’ll be living in a beautiful New England community rich in history, culture, and nightlife. Located in Rockingham County, the city was one of four state townships chartered by the General Court of Massachusetts. A thriving business district – dotted with banks, restaurants, and specialty service shops – is located along State Route 1, making it easy to run errands all in one place.
Hampton is the 16th largest city in New Hampshire, encompassed by great beaches that draw tourists. Hampton Beach is great for surfing or relaxation, with restaurants, shops, and the Explore the World Oceanarium in walking distance of the tide.
Most of the enthralling history of Hampton is revealed through colorful exhibits at the Tuck Museum on Park Avenue. Here, visitors can learn about the city’s beginnings as a small farming town to the versatile beach destination it has become today.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Hampton Arms Apartments
Was on a wait list - but got a renovated hardwood unit -hands down nicest apartment we looked at that was affordable and on the NH Seacoast. All the staff is very nice, and our only bill is electric - heat and hot water included. Also - Location, location, location - on 95, 101, Portsmouth 15 minutes, Portland, Boston, close to everything. Always shop around but so far this place has been great.
This is badly managed. The property managers are hard to deal with. They are very interested in your safety deposit when you move out of your place
This is not smoke free, there is no property manager on site that can do anything, the place is not gated or fenced, terribly landscaped, ants, everyone is moving out
