Norcross is a small suburban community located about 30 minutes northeast of downtown Atlanta. The apartment had roaches when I moved in, and the roaches are still here. they get into my food. This is very bad.

Going on 3 years of living here. Price is high but due to inflation everywhere I feel like I am paying a reasonable price. Gated community comes with pros and cons. Safe for kids but then you have drivers that brake the gate trying to tail gate. Schools here are better than most in Norcross. Highway and shopping centers are not far. Over all it’s a good place to live for now.

I have had some issues with the Insurance Validator in getting my own insurance to take on there, however maintenance issues has never been a problem. They've always been very prompt and professional with all of my maintenance needs.

Gwinnett Pointe Apts is a great property. I have been been here almost three years and staff have been great including the maintenance. Whenever I've had a maintenance issue, it is resolved in timely fashion and from the results I can tell they are passionate about what they do. Also, the grounds are consistently maintained which makes me feel good being here.

Appt review Been here two years and roaches are a issue. I wont speak for other buildings but for building 2 (per the front office also, has a roach infestation) no matter how clean u keep ur apartment. I know the cost if living is going up but for THIS AREA!!?? This is Norcross not Alpharetta ..a 1 BED ROOM Is $1600?? The applicants are stainless steel but ur counter tops and walls are brown/ beige?? The bathroom looks the same with out of date colors. And then for the carpet.. i still dont understand why any place has carpet and then ur dining area is carpet.. As for the “gated community” its not, they had us get keys months ago and never locked the gates. There has been cars broken into. The trash does get full but maintenance men are on top of it with having it picked up by the next day or two. Not really an issue. People do dump furniture but what can u do about that. All in all, I would not live here.

The people that run this place should be ashamed of themselves. Not only did they increase my rent by several hundred dollars, I made several attempts to renew lease when prompted online but the apartment complex's online system is out-of-date and not at all user friendly. Their online system made it impossible to access the necessary forms to sign. I made attempts to reach out to management but there was no communication. Now they want me out by the end of this month. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

I moved to these apts on Sept 2020. Just being able to get this apt was such a headache as no one in the office would answer- and when they did answer it was always wrong information given. On 12.10.2020 my husbands trunk cover was ripped- and they went through all of his material/tools that he keeps locked in his trunk-- someone robbed us. Calling the office would be pointless as they will not do anything about it and there are countless reviews stating the same thing. Its sad but there is no other option than to DEAL WITH IT -- there is no point in living in a "GATED" community if ever since I moved here there has been problems with their gate. There should be vigilance/cameras if these incidents keep occurring- but I am sure the staff/owners could care less. Also not to mention- my room is so HUMID- so disgusting. I'm definitely not renewing, I might not even complete my lease. So disappointed and frustrated for choosing to live at Gwinnett Pointe.

I should’ve went with my gut and chose the other apartment complex across the street. I should’ve known to stay away when I went to tour and the ladies were in the office discussing a termite infestation! Firstly, Elle, consistently lies! From day one! I have been given the run around since day one..... even after I have paid my money! I just wanted to move in but my move in date keeps getting pushed back. I have been hung up on and told not to call the office because I’m holding up the line, even though my only question is WHEN CAN I MOVE IN! I have been trying for a week. It’s crazy. The management in the office talks about its residents like they are trash and calls them all types of names and even tried to report one guy for playing his music to loud (while he was leaving out the gate) while we were taking out tour. It’s unnecessary and this is a warning to go somewhere else! It’s not worth the headache, stress, and honestly it made me cry ! My first apartment... and this is the experience I have!
I would never take the time to write a review unless absolutely necessary and I feel obligated to do so for individuals considering this apartment complex. Please save yourself a lot of trouble and do no move into the complex. There are several complaints about stolen cars from my neighbors. The staff is extremely rude and uncaring. There are bugs everywhere yet they charge pest control fees every month. They retaliate against residents that complain. There is an amentity fee as well but a lot of the amenities are not functional. If you don't believe this review, read the others online. Do not move here. They don't have tons of negative reviews for no reason.

Your grounds are kept of beautifully, rooms are very small.
I will recommend it because the community looks calm and nice. The leasing professional I work with (Crystal), she's superb, doing a wonderful job. I'm highly impressed by her services.
The people are nice here until u give them the money. Just like most places they could careless about your needs and time. Chrystal took my money but when it came to giving ut back I got the run around and she wasted my time.
Huge bug problem, staff that acts nice but then tells you what you want to hear and doesn't follow through. Worst I've ever lived at.
I moved here from Florida with my boyfriend September 2016. It has been a NIGHTMARE since we moved here. Once we moved into our “newly renovated” terrace level apartment, we noticed that the apartment had been broken into. Outside, the sliding glass door had a hole in it at the bottom of the door handle and the front door knob had scratches on it and the weather strip was torn out. My second week living here my car was stolen from the parking lot right outside of my apartment building. I’ve heard gunshots outside of my window and just a few weeks ago, after coming home from work, there was a suspect being bitten a police dog right on the other side of my porch. No one was informed that the police were searching for someone and to stay inside.My apartment does not feel like a home. When my boyfriend isn’t home I am afraid. I wish we would have carefully read all of the reviews carefully before we moved in.
I have lived in this apartment complex for a year. The apartments are cheaply renovated, management can be unprofessional, and the rules here are never enforced. I have chose to leave this place for my peace of mind and for my safety. If you treasure either one of those things, you would not live here. I used to encourage people to live here until my last 6 months here. I cannot wait to move to a new complex where resident's issues are taken seriously. This neighborhood has been spiraling downward for the last 6 months. They have moved in seedy characters, people who do not control their children, and people who have no respect for others or their property. Run. Do not live in this complex.
I moved to Gwinnett Point in March, despite the horrible reviews, due to assurance from new management that they were working to approve the issues. . I would describe my experience in one word, Regrettable. Ever since I moved in, I have been faced with multiple inconveniences. 1> Maintenance inability to rectify issues diligently. 2> Moth infestations. 3> Disposing of Food Products (2 times, due to Moth infestation). 4> Unapologetic attitude from “Atlanta Corporate Manager” 5> Poor Infrastructure. 6> Lack of Communication from Office Managers. 7> Consistently Broken Community Gates. 8> Poor Management Regulation of Residential Compliance. 9> Disgusting Washer and Dryers in Community. Just to name a few. Maintenance has no regard for personal property upon entering your home. They've broken my sentimental glassware and have consistently left a mess after "fixing" the issues. It is not worth the headache or the hassle. I truly wish I would have followed my instincts. I called who’s supposed to be the Atlanta Corporate Manager, regarding a moth infestation, not once but twice, only to be in contact with the most unprofessional, unresponsive “Manager” I’ve ever been in contact with. I reached out to him, with frustration, only to receive the most ill-mannered response. He informed me “I could be lying, he would call the office to get their side of the story”. I asked him will I be able to be compensated for the food I’ve had to throw away, multiple times. He replies, “He’s not going to pay me anything, I am calling and asking for money over the phone”. I inquired about a hire authority to speak to, he gave me the number to the Texas Branch and said “They are just going to send you back to me, but here’s the number”. He’s even proceeded to hang up on me multiple times. His cocky insensitive attitude, poor management, and horrible reviews leads me to believe this company do not value their customers and think they can get away with anything! SAVE YOUR MONEY! I will be contacting the BBB as well as the highest Corporate Representative possible.
I was reading the other reviews and I'm just thinking to myself how that could happen to them. The management that is here is really nice, I have always stayed to myself and I'm a neighbor that doesn't nag or anything. When something in my apartment needs to get done I call for an order and they immediately get it done for me. If I have any questions they are there to advise me and let me know what goes on. The office would occasionally throw events at the pool and just a way to get the residents to bond and have fun. My daughter is in preK but I just personally don't like the school district only because it's with meadowcreek/berkmar but that's my personal opinion. I say give it a shot it's easy access to beaver ruin and close to 85. They provide a weekly pest control and keep their place clean.
I have lived in these apartments for over 3 years simply because of the great school that my son attends. The older management (Orion) had nicer people on staff and occasional issues but they seemed to work hard to get things fixed. There is now new management that never answers the phone nor return phone calls if they do. I have put in several work orders only to find out that they have no record of it when I call to check on the status. One of the staff stated that I need to call back within two days to check and make sure that the work is being processed taking no responsibility at all; so I definitely agree with the unprofessionalism. The lighting in my building is constantly going out. I called several times for them to fix it but of course they take their time with that as well. They charge for pest control every month although I never see them( they will only come to your place if you request it, water, sewage. There are constantly bug issues and I keep my place extremely clean. I asked to have my apartment painted and they stated that I need to go get all of the materials and do it myself. There seemed to be standards for residents pre-approval but now anyone can move in. I see people walking around pregnant with their shoes off. Kids are all over the place. I won't blame the apartments for that but it is something to consider. Trash is always too full spilling over and leaving a horrible smell in the air. Overpriced and unprofessional. Overall, I do not recommend moving to this place.
Building is nice, but management are apathetic. Neighborhood is full of criminals.
I previously lived here and the staff is so unprofessional. Everytime you call and leave a message no one calls back or if you talk to.someone and are expecting a call back you'll wait forever. They overcharge when rent increases and the gym is not functional. Equipment is broken and the staff takes forever to fix anyrhing and everything. They need reminders lile children when things are broken and need to be fixed.also you can't just tell.one person because they dont communicate. You have to tell everyone that works there. Then when you move out the over charge you. They charge you for things that were messed up when you first move in, so notate everything you see even a tiny scatch because if not they will blame you and charge you. Also make sure you repaint the apartment if you touch it because if not they will charge you to have I repainted too.
