Eastern Standard Time March 27, 2023 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). The Sponsor of this promotion is CoStar Realty Information, Inc. ("CoStar" or "Sponsor"). The Administrator of this promotion is Streetsense Consulting, LLC (“Administrator”). Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes.

THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS IN NO WAY SPONSORED, ENDORSED OR ADMINISTERED BY, OR ASSOCIATED WITH ANY SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION TWITTER, TIKTOK, PINTEREST, LINKEDIN, OR FACEBOOK OR INSTAGRAM FROM META (“SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM(S)”). 

ELIGIBILITY:  Open only to legal residents of the 48 contiguous U.S. states and the District of Columbia (i.e. excluding Hawaii and Alaska) who are currently renting their primary place of residence and are 18 years or older at the time of entry. Void elsewhere and where prohibited. Sponsor, Administrator, Sydney Paige, Nathalia Sandoval, their parent, subsidiary and affiliate companies, along with each of their respective officers, directors, executives, and employees (collectively, the “Released Entities”), and each of the immediate families (parents, children, siblings, spouse) or members of the same household (whether related or not) of such employees/officers/directors are not eligible to enter.

HOW TO ENTER: Participants may enter the Sweepstakes by taking any of the following actions during the Sweepstakes Period. Each action may only be taken by a participant one (1) time and taking each action will qualify as one (1) entry, for a maximum of four (4) entries into the Sweepstakes. Entries for Actions 1 and 3 will be placed in Prize Pool 1; Entries for Actions 2 and 4 will be placed in Prize Pool 2. Participants are welcome to submit Entries to both Prize Pool 1 and 2.

Action 2: Follow Apartments.com on Instagram (@apartmentscom) and comment on the designated Instagram ‘Collab’ post that is shared between Apartments.com (@apartmentscom) and partner Nathalia Sandoval’s Instagram channels (@nathysandoval) = one (1) entry; and/or

Action 3: Follow Apartments.com on TikTok (@apartments.com) and comment on the designated TikTok post that is shared on partner Sydney Regis’s TikTok channel (@lifewithsydneyx) = one (1) entry; and/or

Action 4: Follow Apartments.com on TikTok (@apartments.com) and comment on the designated TikTok post that is shared on partner Nathalia Sandoval’s TikTok channel (@natsandoval12) = one (1) entry.

If you already following Apartments.com on Instagram and/or TikTok, then you only need to take the “comment” portion of the actions described above to enter the Sweepstakes on each respective platform.

For entry purposes, Entrants are limited to one social media account per Social Media Platform. Your social media account must be set to “Public” prior to taking the actions described above in order to participate in the Sweepstakes. You may not enter more times by using multiple email addresses, identities, accounts, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of Sponsor. 

The social media account used to enter must be your primary personal social media account.  Corporate/business accounts, as well as personal accounts created solely for purposes of entering this Sweepstakes or other promotions, will be disqualified.  Sponsor and Administrator have sole discretion to determine the legitimacy of any social media account used to enter the Sweepstakes and to disqualify an Entry received from any account deemed illegitimate. Sponsor and Administrator reserve the right to disqualify any Entries where either the social media account associated with the Entry or the Entry itself fails to comply with Social Media Platform rules, contains content that is false, misleading, offensive, hateful, dangerous, harassing or illegal, or otherwise does not comply with Sponsor’s, Administrator’s, or sweepstakes partners’ images or the spirt of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.  

Entries will not be deemed valid for the Sweepstakes unless they: (a) meet the requirements set forth above; (b) comply with the rules of the Sweepstakes and the rules of the respective Social Media Platform(s); (c) do not contain obscene, offensive or objectionable imagery or language, or communicate messages inconsistent with the positive images to which Sponsor wishes to associate; and (d) do not infringe, misappropriate or violate the rights of any third party. Entries that do not include any required disclosures or that are not received by Sponsor for any reason will not be eligible and will be disqualified.  Multiple participants are not permitted to share the same email address or social media account. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, misdirected, false, corrupted, illegible or late entries. Sponsor shall have the sole discretion to determine the validity of an Entry.

All potential winners are subject to verification before any prize will be awarded.  Automated or bulk entries or entries submitted by third parties will be disqualified. Incomplete, illegible, corrupted or untimely entries are void and will be disqualified. Sponsor and Administrator reserve the right to verify the eligibility of winners. In the event of a dispute concerning the identity of a participant, the entry will be declared to have been made by the registered account holder of the social media account used for entry, but only if that person meets all other eligibility criteria, otherwise the entry may be disqualified, and any potential prize won will be forfeited in Sponsor’s sole discretion.

PRIZE SELECTION: Following the conclusion of the Sweepstakes Period, or about March 27, 2023, two (2) potential winners will be selected at random by Sponsor. One (1) potential winner will be selected from among all eligible entries in Prize Pool 1 and one (1) potential winner will be selected from among all eligible entries Prize Pool 2. Each potential winner will receive the prize described below. The odds of winning the prizes depend on the number of eligible entries received in each Prize Pool during the Sweepstakes Period. A potential winner is only eligible to win once, that is, if a potential winner is selected for the Prize Pool 1 prize then they cannot win the Prize Pool 2 prize as well. 

The potential winners will be notified via direct message on the Social Media Platform no later than April 3, 2023. The potential winners must respond via direct message through the Social Media Platform within two (2) days of the original direct message or will forfeit the prize. Prior to being confirmed as a Winner, potential winner will be required to sign and return an Affidavit or Declaration of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release within ten (10) calendar days of prize notification. Refusal to do so will result in forfeiture of the prize. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within five (5) calendar days of first notification attempt, if any prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, if any potential winner fails to return his/her winner documents within the time set forth above or otherwise rejects his/her prize, or in the event of noncompliance with these Sweepstakes Official Rules, such eligible winner may forfeit such prize and an alternate eligible winner may be selected from all remaining eligible entries, time permitting. Upon prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given. Potential winner must continue to comply with these Official Rules and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. 

PRIZES: 

Prize: Two (2) Winners, one from each Prize Pool, will each receive a $500.00 gift card to The Container Store. Standard gift card terms and conditions apply.  Total Prize ARV: $1,000.00

Prizes are not negotiable with the Winner. Prizes are non-transferable, and no substitutions are allowed except by Sponsor who may award a prize for one of equal or greater value for any reason. If a prize is not claimed within the designated time period, an alternate potential winner will be drawn from all remaining eligible entries. 

Winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes and fees, including income or local personal property taxes, insurance, licensing, registration and title fees arising out of the receipt and use of the prizes. Any difference between the stated estimated value of a prize and its actual value will not be awarded. 

SPONSOR’S RIGHTS. Participation in Sweepstakes constitutes Entrant’s grant to Sponsor, Administrator and their partners and designees, the irrevocable and perpetual nonexclusive right to use, publicly display, print, publish, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, and provide access to Winner’s entry submission, name, address (city and state/province/territory), likeness, photograph, picture, portrait, voice, opinions, biographical information and/or any statements made by Entrant regarding the Sweepstakes or the prize(s) for advertising and promotional purposes without limitation, in any media, worldwide, without notice or additional compensation or consent, except where prohibited by law.
If an Entrant chooses to submit or post any media content (including to but not limited to photographs, videos, recordings) in connection with this Sweepstakes, that Entrant grants to Sponsor, Administrator and their partners and designees, a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive right and license to use, reproduce, copy, distribute, and display each submitted Entry and any part thereof, in any media, and the right to use, copy, modify, edit, and create derivative works therefrom, and agrees to execute documents confirming such right and license at Sponsor’s reasonable request. By entering, you understand that your Entry will be reviewed by Sponsor and may be posted online to a gallery or featured in Sponsor’s social media channels or other advertising, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, to be viewed by members of the general public. All Entries that meet the Sweepstakes eligibility requirements will be entered for a chance to win, regardless of whether they are featured or posted by Sponsor.  By entering, each entrant warrants and represents that his/her Entry is original, has not been previously published or won any award, does not contain any material that would defame or otherwise violate or infringe upon the rights of any third party, including patents, copyrights, trademarks or rights of privacy or publicity, and will not violate any federal, state or local laws or ordinances.

GENERAL CONDITIONS. By participating in this Sweepstakes, each Entrant represents that there is no legal or contractual restriction barring participation, including, without limitation, any restriction from participant’s employer or company. Entrants agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless the Released Entities and the Social Media Platforms from any and all liability, for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever, including without limitation property damage, personal injury and/or death which may occur in connection with, preparation for, travel to, or participation in Sweepstakes, or possession, acceptance and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity and for any claims based on copyright, trademark, publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery.

In case of dispute as to the identity of any entrant, entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used to submit the entry. “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address or is the owner of the social media account used for the entry at issue. Any potential winner may be requested to provide proof that such winner is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entry or other proof of identity. The Released Entities are not responsible for technical, hardware, software, network or other communications malfunctions, errors or failures of any kind, lost, interrupted or unavailable network connections, Website, Internet, or ISP availability, unauthorized human intervention, traffic congestion, or failed, incomplete, garbled, jumbled or delayed computer transmissions which may limit one’s ability to enter the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, extend or suspend this Sweepstakes should (in its sole discretion) virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, fraud or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. In such case, winner(s) will be selected from all eligible participants prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken. Entrants who do not comply with these Official Rules or attempt to interfere with this Sweepstakes in any way shall be disqualified. Released Entities are not responsible for any typographical, display, input, or other error in any Sweepstakes materials, or for any errors or problems which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, or in the announcement of prizes, including such error that may give an erroneous indication that a prize has been won.
