Can I manually enter data while on a data feed?
YES: Amenities can be manually updated when a property is connected to a feed. All other data points will be overwritten when the feed runs unless you’ve opted to enable one of the two special features below (Update Unit Availability Only and By-Pass Special Offers)
Can the feed only update unit availabilities and allow the client to manually manage all other data points?
YES: The “Update Unit Availability Only” option allows you to update all data points except for Model and Unit information without the feed overwriting the manual entry.
Can I enter my own Special Offers without the feed overriding my entry?
YES: The “By-Pass Special Offers” option allows you to manually manage special offers without the feed overwriting manual entries.
There are 100 units display on my property on the site. Can you remove some or all the units?
YES: The “# of Units to Display” option allows production Support to suppress the number of units per model displaying in increments of:
- 0 – None of the available units will display online
- 3, 4, 5…and up to 10 units per model will display online
Can you change the text displaying for unavailable units?
YES: The feeds@apartments.com team can change the text from “Not Available” to “Available Soon”.
What if I don’t want to utilize the images in the feed. Can they be excluded?
YES: The “Feed Photos Off” option prevents images in the feed from uploading in Network Admin and displaying on the site. When enabled, only CoStar and manually uploaded images that have been added to the listing will display online.
What if I only want feed images to display on my Ad?
YES: The “Display Feed Photos Only” suppresses CoStar and manually uploaded images from displaying online. When enabled, the feeds photos display online in the sequence provided in the feed.
