Property Ratings at Grove at Temple Terrace
Besides the 3 am loud music and music and noisy neighbors at any hours especially at night, a generally unsafe neighborhood and management that is looking for any way to screw you this place is nice and 60 minutes from any nice beach, and located right in the middle of 2 major intersections, so rest assured traffic will be terrible 24/7.
Do not trust this place with your money! We moved out almost 8 months ago, and they still have not sent us our full security deposit that they owe us (they have admitted they owe us it). They have told us about 20 times, "The check is in the mail" and "You should receive it within 1-2 weeks" and yet it never comes! It's been almost 8 months! Go to another apartment complex that won't lie to you and withhold hundreds of dollars from you. As for living at the Grove, we witnessed many drug deals, it was a regular occurrence for people to blast their music literally at 3am, we had to tell our guests not to freak out when they hear screaming outside at 5am--that was pretty regular, witnessed fights, and more. My wife and I literally laughed out loud when we saw the Grove's update website as it so inaccurately represents the apartments and life there. They boast that they have laundry a facility, yet the machines were quick frequently broken (lots of vandalism) and then they would close it completely from residents. They have a pool, but they would close that because of vandalism. They have a gym, but 75% of the time when I tried to go during the hours it was supposed to be open, it was closed. And even with all that, we completed our full 12-month lease.

came here on a Friday and had a tour and it was great. Was reassured that a couple of apartments were not being applied for and to apply ASAP. I applied the same day and called the office to confirm they received my application and was told they would call back. Monday comes and nothing so we call again and once again we are told we would get a call back. We still did not receive a call back. That following Tuesday we found out through the portal that we were approved but was never notified. We called once again and nothing. Come Wednesday morning all of the apartments including the one we applied for was gone. Once again we called to figure everything out and Once again no call but received an email later stating we were put on a waitlist. Not happy at all! Do not apply here.

I moved in 2 months ago as I relocated to Tampa. Office people were so great and made my move in such an easy transition. Apartments have great space and closets because I love my shoes the closet space was important. Since I moved in I had 2 small maintenance concerns but the maintenance workers came out the same day and fixed my problems. I feel at home even thought I am so far away from hometown. The place is very clean and my neighbors are very nice. I would recommend this place to anyone. Samantha Jackson
Hi, I hate only one thing with nonrefundable admin $300 and move in $500 fees.
Nice sized apartments and excellent kitchen to cook.
The amenities are cool and looking forward to move here soon.
The staff are professional made everything as smooth as possible.
I'm beyond satisfied staying at Southern Cove apartnments.
I like the fact that this community is nice and quiet.

I just moved out of Southern Cove apartments due to my job relocating. I just want to thank the staff for the living experience that I received. I love and miss the location and how quiet it was living there.
Recently moved in. The area has everything you could possibly need shopping centers, grocery store, and restaurants. It was hard for me transition from one place to another but he staff worked around my schedule and took time to show me around. I am happy with the apartment that I was shown.
I have lived here for about 2 years They have a really nice and fast if you come around any issues. The pool is nice and so is the fitness center.

I Recently moved out last week, after a year at cedar cove. I miss this area, I truly do.If it wasnt for my me buying a house, I would of stayed another year or more.
I've lived here for over 1 year now, and going on 3, and i still love it. This is hands down the best apartment i've ever lived at.
The entire staff is beyond excellence. They are professional yet friendly. They have made our transition to our new apartment pleasant. The staff has made us feel welcomed, we are feeling the love. I cannot express how comfortable safe and peaceful our newcommunity is.
These apartments are conveniently located next to the shopping center and mall. From here you a quick drive to go shopping and a block or two away from groceries. Your also surrounded by restaurants when you don't feel like cooking! The apartments are a bit older but are being replaced with new appliances. The apartments are super spacious. And in a quiet area with families with children.
I JUST RECENTLY MOVED TO A TWO BEDROOM APARTMENT WITH MY SPOUSE AND THREE GRAND CHILDREN THAT LIVE WITH US. WE RECENTLY MOVED FROM A THREE BEDROOM APT.THAT HAD MISSING CABINETS,RATS,ROACHES GALORE,TOILETS THAT DIDN'T FLUSH ,AIR CONDITION THAT DIDN'T COOL OFF THE ROOMS,LEAKING BATHTUB AND A GLASS DOORS IN THE BACK THAT STOOD LOCKED WITH A STICK TO PREVENT INTRUDERS FROM GETTING IN. NO PLACE FOR THE KIDS TO PLAY OR SWIM LIKE WE HAVE NOW. WE HAVE A NICE LIL BACK YARD AND TOILETS THAT WORK, AND DECENT NEIGHBORS AND RENTERS. WE HAD A SLUM LANDLORD THAT DIDNT CARE HOW HE HAD US LIVING. AT NIGHT I HEAR THE CHILDTEN LAUGHING AND ARE VERY HAPPY AND EXCITED TO BE LIVING HERE..ITS EXPENSIVE BUT I STRUGGLE FOR THEM. THEY ALL DESERVE TO LIVE COMFORTABLY AND SAFE.
