The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Grey Mill Apartments
After spending some time looking for available upscale apartments in the area and not having much success, I stumbled upon Grey Mill. After reaching out, I received a call back the next day. The staff kept me up to date on construction progress and the move in target date was met. The team did an excellent job in renovating this historic mill building and was able to keep all of the original charm and historic features. There are several different layouts and each and every apartment is unique to itself. One really great feature are the windows!!! The building is literally built around them! They were able to keep the original windows in some areas and where they were unable to be salvaged, they were replicated with new ones that are more energy efficient and have easier awning operation. And these windows are huge (8’x12’) and they come with really great roller shades which offers both privacy and insulation. It's obvious that the original construction maximized available light through these windows and utilized the brick columns bewteen them to support the massive fir timbers (which are still exposed) to offer the maximum available clear floor space for the mill. The room layouts are all dictated by the original window locations and the new architect did an incredible job maximizing room size without disturbing this detail! Every room has tons of natural light! I was able to fit a Queen size bed with a night stand in my bed room and still open the large closet doors completely. The appliances, fixtures, cabinets and granite tops are new and the space seems to be relatively quiet. So far, my neighbors have been great and I am excited about what this place is offering. After I moved in, but before I slept here, there was a roof leak in my bed room and it completely saturated my mattress. Before I found out, the wonderful staff called me to let me know and offered to replace my new mattress (and they did replace it). So far, I am impressed with Grey Mill and they have exceeded my expectations!!!
The building looks nice in the pictures that they post but don’t get fooled. The room are really small they could’ve done so much more with the space the had. Bu instead they tried getting max unit possibility. The bedrooms are so small that it does not look like you could fit a bed in there and still be able to access your bedroom closet.
