The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Gregg Apartments
I’ve lived here for just over a year now. I have had minimal issues but the few I have are very glaringly problematic to me. The first one is my water quality. About 5 weeks prior to my review I was notified that my unit and the one next to it would have a boil warning in effect. All tap water was unsafe for drinking and needed to be boiled. Fair enough of a warning and had no issues with that. Second week we got another notice that it was continued for another week. 3 weeks later no notice or info about the water situation. Furthermore I have started to smell strong scents of chlorine from all of my faucets as well as having my hand burn and itch after using the tap water for extended periods of time. I emailed them about this in the 5th week and they declined to share any updates or details except for that we would receive an update next week about the water. Very frustrating given my symptoms with the water. Even more frustrating considering the lack of communication from the property manager for those last 3 weeks. Not the first issue I had either with poor communication from management. Early this spring management had all the patios painted. I didn’t find out about this until my girlfriend called me at work to tell me she woke up to a stranger up on our balcony. I rushed home to confront this person and I am told that she was a contractor hired by the management. Claimed that they should have given us notice. We had no note or email from management. It’s only a few issues but I whole heartedly believe that the lack of communication is completely unacceptable and I’m infuriated by the lack of communications. If you are looking for a property there are better local places with similar pricing. This would be a last resort to recommend to anyone with the management in it current state.
I've lived here for a few years now, and I've enjoyed every minute of it. The neighbors are friendly and the location of the complex is right where I need it, just a few minutes drive from Kentwood. The only problem I have with it is the price of the rent, but I'm making do for now.
