Living in Toledo combines waterfront living along the Maumee River with rich historical heritage. Known as "The Glass City" due to its glass manufacturing legacy, Toledo features housing options from preserved Victorian homes in the Old West End district to apartments in the Warehouse District. The University of Toledo campus area and the Toledo Museum of Art, home to an impressive glass pavilion, contribute to the city's educational and cultural landscape. Current rental trends show moderate increases, with average one-bedroom apartments renting for $794, reflecting a 2.6% annual increase, while two-bedroom units average $965, up 3.7% from the previous year.
The city's extensive Metroparks system spans 12,000 acres, offering outdoor recreation opportunities throughout the area. Toledo's distinct neighborhoods include the architecturally significant Old West End and the waterfront community of Point Place.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Greenglen
I lived at Greenglen for 3 years and enjoyed it. Very quiet place to live, neighbors nor management bothered me the entire three years I lived there. You get your own mini patio and a square of grass which is great if you have a small dog or want to plant something. The units look a little outdated but for the price in that area I can't really complain.
Management does not keep up with regular maintenance. They let cats and kittens live under the apartments and do not tell new renters this information. The say there is nothing they can do but the manager of the place is just lazy. They let hoarders live in the apartments which causes a bug problem. They have a flea problem every year (because of the stray cats) and expect you to deal with it. I would not waste your money. Very outdated living area and dirty. And they probably do not tell elderly people that the TARPS bus does not come to the apts and pick people up even though these apartments are handicapp accessible. Its out of their jurisdiction so you have to cross the street with non-working crosswalks if you need to catch a bus. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE
