La Grange is overflowing with small-town charm, and despite its population of just under 9,000, there are plenty of conveniences and amenities that one might expect from a city more than twice its size.
La Grange’s Main Street is lined with historic buildings of all styles, but it has one feature that other small towns don’t: there’s a mainline train track that runs right along Main Street through La Grange’s downtown, and it is always a spectacle. La Grange is also known for the smell of freshly roasted coffee that drifts over the town thanks to La Grange Coffee Roasters.
