Nice, clean apartments for a fair amount of cash! These apartments are in a safe neighborhood! The staff is great and very attentive to the needs of their tenants!

Great place to live! Nice spacious pool area and one bedroom is a nice square footage for the cost.

Tenant for 3.5 years. It wasn't the worst experience considering I stayed for that long, but I really hope they have made improvements. The grounds are clean, and the walkways are always clear in the winter. Maintenance was always quick to respond. The pool is a nice perk. The gym is tiny w/ minimal equipment. Being a downstairs neighbor, I had several new tenants above me and surprisingly only had issues with one because they would blast their music so late. The front door to the building never locked, no peepholes on your apartment door. The intercom was only located on one side of the building, and it was the side people barely used. They only provide a little thumbscrew to lock windows. The AC units are located in the bedroom(s) and it's hard to push air up into the kitchen/living room. In the winter, I would cover my windows with plastic and still couldn't get it warmer than 60*. I had chain smokers for neighbors, which made the hallway and parts of my apartment smell awful, and all management did was buy a glade plug in, which they never came back to refill when it was empty. The cleaners did a mediocre job cleaning the hallways. These apartments are old, so expect bugs. I had tons of centipedes and large black ants, even after spraying home defense in every corner multiple times.

I stayed here for 3 years and I never had any trouble and staff were good and responding immediately. I had a good time and enjoyed my stay here.

The staff is incompetent like the other reviews state and they will everything they can as reason to charge more. I wouldn't be surprised if I wasn't diligent as I was emailing them that they would've tried to hit me with a late fee on rent. I always had rent early but they ALWAYS cashed late. They also like to claim they never recieved your renter insurance so they can hit you with a noncompliance fee there too. They love to blame you for their own mistakes and treat you like garbage. Doesn't matter how good of a tenant you are.

They find opportunities to charge more. They never mentioned about non-refundable reconditioning fee of $250 and charged. They charged $25 for providing policy number one day late. They say heat is free but charge $55 per month and the manager is very rude. I took this short term lease for my son and not sure how much more penalty I am going to face in 6 months.

This complex is fantastic, we love the amenities, the pool, and the units.

This is my second year living at Green Acres Apartments. Staff is very friendly and efficient! I feel safe living here, with the security "Buzz In" system. Reason I chose Green Acres was because I was able to move in and keep my two Shih-Tzus with me. I love the pool, and how I have a Boulevard to walk my dogs. I also love how living here is centrally located to shopping, gyms, etc.

Reasonable accommodation with some good services. But with the new management, you could be easily mistreated or overbilled for their mistakes. Regret being there.

A beautiful place to live in with family. I lived here for little more than a year with my wife and three kids . We completely enjoyed living here. Leasing office staffs are very co-operative and understanding. Jessica is very nice and reasonable. Great location. Friendly Environment. Small Gym, big pool and several big play areas for kids. I would definitely suggest to someone who is looking for Apartment in Saginaw county.

Lived here for three years while earning my nursing degree at SVSU and never had a problem. Excellent management (one of GAVA's strongest points). Fairly priced. Repairs are easily requested and always completed on time. Clean atmosphere, well-attended landscaping. Nice clubhouse and sufficient workout room. It is my understanding that all of these have been remodeled since I lived there, so they are even nicer now. The apartments are on the older side - not gonna find marble counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and premium wooden floors in this place, but the units are still nice, and are very well maintained. They don't "feel" old. I heard that they have some premium ones in the back of the complex, but I've never been inside one of them. I have, however, been inside apartments that offered the fancy counter tops and all that jazz, but did not have a hookup for a washer and dryer in them. That was a godsend. Definitely one of the finer apartment complexes in Saginaw. Great location - you're next to Green Acres Plaza, which allows you to have a quick walk to a massive Kroger and a sizable strip mall. I haven't been to GA Plaza in a while, but I heard there are many more shops/business/etc there now. There's a pretty good (and affordable) pizza place called "Good Times" over there. Many, many larges with Pepperoni and Pineapple were ordered during my tenure at Green Acres Village Appointments! My only complaint is that GAVA spoiled me...I always find myself comparing the service and great management provided by GAVA to the ones I "receive" (if I call enough the management enough times) at my new spot near Detroit.
