I have moved around several places in my life, big cities and small. And I have to say that the experience here is wonderful, and probably the best I have had in a long time. Julie, the manager, is amazing, hardworking, and kind. She truly cares about her tenants. She and the maintenance team are professional, respectful, and organized. I have lived here for a few years, and they have always been great with following through any work orders that were needed. They are always on top of things, and their quality of work is exemplary. And we are very lucky to have them here at Granville. The apartments are spacious, and I love having a garage and an in-unit washer/dryer. The tenants here are really nice, and there is a good sense of community here. Overall, this is a really nice apartment complex, and I would definitely continue staying here for some time.

My husband and I lived in Granville apartments since 2019. It is one of the best apartment complexes in Merced. We escaped to this place from another apartment complex where our upstairs neighbor smoked constantly and ran around the house chasing his cat at 3 am. Granville apartment complex is very peaceful and quiet. Smoking is banned so you don't have to worry about second-hand smoke. The washer and drier are inside the unit which is quite a luxury in Merced. But the best thing about Granville is the apartment manager, Julie. She is super responsible and responsive. She is always in her office during office hours and never disappears during those hours. I have had really bad experiences with managers in other apartment complexes in Merced, but Julie is different, very professional and always respectful. Another great thing about Granville is the maintenance. Whenever we contacted them with a problem, they showed up and fixed it pretty quickly. The apartment complex also has garages, so you can make sure that your car is safe (since vehicle break-ins are a known issue in Merced). All in all, it's a great place to live. The only downside is that it is close to the railroad and the train honks loudly. But it is easy to get used to that. It really is a minor issue when compared to all the good things that this apartment offers. I definitely recommend this place.

This is hands down the BEST place to live in Merced if you’re renting an apartment! Julie the manager is amazing and so are the grounds men Cruz and Leo. It’s quite and safe, along with being updated and affordable. You can’t go wrong with living here! Lots of professional and respectful residents. You get a roomy garage and all appliances are included! Also, I could text Julie anytime with a question or request and she is always very responsive and accommodating. Seriously, don’t waste your time looking any further. I loved living here for two and half years.

The only thing that I liked about the place: washer and dryer is included. It's quite small so no space for extra storage (assume that's why there's a garage included). I think it really depends on which area of the complex you live in but be aware of some of the type of people that live here: young college kids, folks that like to play music loudly in their garage until 0200 AM and families who disrespectfully use the "parking/garage" area like a playground which gets extremely loud (even though it'seems 'prohibited,' noone says anything plus it makes no sense considering that there a freaken park less that a block away). So if you're someone who likes peace and quiet don't consider this. Also they'll mention all of the great 'amenities' included, security system & cameras throughout and gated community (just to name some) but in reality we never used the security system so that wasnt beneficial and cameras were never working especially when we needed it to. Our parked cars has been hit twice now, probably by drunken drivers or just idiots who didn't know how to properly park. Went to the property manager and she couldn't pull up the tape because the cameras were 'out' those day. As well sometimes it is very difficult to find a parking at night. The main gate has been malfunctioning few times within the first year that we moved in (making it unresponsive to the clicker as we literally sit there for 5 min attempting to open it because we couldn't use the dial pad since it wasn't responding either). Same thing with the garage part of the cliclerk, which had to be replaced. To top everything off rent has raise. If you want to move out you'll have to provide a (I believe) a 90 days if not 60 days notice to the property management vs other complexes which is usually a 30 days. * especially for a town like Merced, I would avoid these complexes. There are better ones out there, for better price and better area.

The management of this complex has increased the rent several times over the past years and has just instituted a new program to force tenants to lease for two whole years or pay MASSIVE increases. Avoid.

Granville apartments are great apartments to live in Merced, I have lived here for 3 years and they are very secure to live in, a security guy always walks around at night. It is gated so you can only get in if you have a key, also there is a pool and a gym that was recently remodeled, it really looks great. The gym is designed for a complete workout cycle with cardio machines, strength training and free weights. When asked for maintenance, most of the time they get back to me the next day and the maintenance guy is very friendly, whenever I see him in outside he asks if there's anything that needs maintenance. The apartments are open concept and kitchen has granite countertops. There are big windows which let a lot of light in and make the apartment very bright. Another big plus is the great amount of storage available. The apartment has great amenities such as washer and dryer within; so you do not have to spend hours nor quarters at a laundry mat. Something that has won me over is that the apartment is its low- maintenance . Overall as a student I am very happy to live in Granville apartments because they are a bit luxurious and affordable. My parents also like it because it is so safe.

I've lived here for about 7 months and I couldn't be happier. I've always felt safe here, a great first place to live on my own. It's nice and quiet always clean. Love the washer and dryer in my home also the gym is very convenient. Highly recommend!

Built in 2005, Granville Luxury Apartments are some of the newest units in Merced, and are situated in a convenient location near to major shopping centers and a large city park. This beautifully maintained, gated complex is a mere minute from access to highway 99, and is also on the main route to the University of California, Merced. All of the staff is very kind, professional, and helpful! There is 24/7 camera monitoring everywhere, along with a posted security guard at night. The large, gated (and well maintained) pool area features lounging chairs and covered table areas, next to a private indoor gym. The units each feature an alarm system. The central heating and air conditioning are superb; mine will freeze the place or burn it up within minutes! The kitchen and dining area, with beautiful granite countertops and tile flooring, is quite spacious—even in a one-bedroom, one-bath. There is plenty of cabinet space. Each unit includes an overhead microwave, a stacked refrigerator/freezer unit, an electric range and oven, a full-size dishwasher, and an in-sink garbage disposal. The dining area also sports a very stylish chandelier. The carpeted living room looks out of a large sliding glass door to a small patio and a gorgeous view of the other units. The included standing fireplace/mantel insert is very nice, and the room has plenty of space to work with furniture. The bedroom features a walk-in closet with overhead storage space and plenty of hanger space. Both the bedroom and closet have an overhead light. The room even has its own phone outlet, in addition to the one in the kitchen. The laundry room, tile-floored and enclosed by accordion doors, has more overhead storage for things that don’t quite fit elsewhere. Definitely worth mentioning is that every unit has its own washer and dryer! The bathroom, also tiled, has a granite countertop and a small closet. The combination shower/bathtub piece is enclosed by glass doors that include a towel rack, in addition to the wall-mount towel rack and hand-towel holder by the sink. Finally, the garage fits one car and lots of stuff-storage along the perimeters. All of the corridors around the complex have cameras, so no one’s going to be breaking into your garage without it being seen on camera. Overall, I have immensely enjoyed living here in Granville for the past seven-plus years, and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for the best of the best! You couldn’t ask for more.

I am tenant at Granville Luxury Apartments in Merced, CA. I've been living here for a little over a year and it has been wondeful! This complex is well taken care of, management is extremely nice, and my neighbors are friendly. I've lived in various apartments throughout my years and I can honestly say that these Apartments have been my favorite! The layout and interior of the apartment is updated and spacious. The security of this gated community definitely provides a sense of safety and comfort. Overall, these apartments are excellent... providing safety, elegance, comfort, and affordable living!

I have lived in these apartments for about two years now, and I absolutely love them. I love the people, the management, and the workers they are all friendly and polite. This is defiantly the apartments you want to live in.

I have lived in houses all my life and was always leery about moving into an apartment but I finally decided to give it a try! I moved into the Grandville Apartments in Merced. Grandville Apartments have the best design of any apartment i have seen, large closets, large balcony, and a better Kitchen than most houses I have lived in before. Huge granite counter tops, a stainless steel sink, and massive Cabinet space. I have always had a problem with parking my car in a parking lot, your car get dinged, scratched and sun damage. every apartment comes with it own one car garage that i use for storage and parking my car. Many people love the pool area and use the Gym, but most Apartments close them very early. Grandvillage Apartments amenities are open 24/7 which fits my crazy schedule. out of every friends apartment or other apartments i have seen Grandville Apartments are 100% the best apartments that Merced has to offer. I've been living at Granville for the past several years now. And as a college student, I must say the connivance of these apartments are great. We are located walking distance to Walmart, and several other stores. Right next to Cat tracks easy enough to just hop on bus and get to school. The inside of the apartments are up to date, with granite counter tops, tile floors, a spacious restroom and humongous closets. We also are lucky enough to have porches/ balconies and an amazing electric fireplace. Here at Granville, we get to have access to a full on gym, with cardio machines and weights, as well as a pool and 6 hot tubs around the complex. Another great thing about living here is being safe because each apartment is equipped with a security system, and gates surrounding the premises. Last but not least we have some of the best staff and management around, our office manager Julie is phenomenal she gets things taken care of in a heart beat; always making sure the apartments are always clean, maintained, and secure for us tenets!

Perfect for couples or small families! My favorite features are having washer and dryer hookups, a garage for my car, fire place, and granite counter tops. Aparment management makes sure the complex stays clean, quiet, and safe. Another plus to living here is access to the gym and pool.

My boyfriend and I love living at Granville! The grounds are beautiful, and so are the apartments. Every apartment comes with a garage and a washer/dryer. Seriously, what else do you need? I feel safe here, Julie the manager makes this a priority. There are cameras,gates and security officers all night. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Granville is beautiful,safe and quite.

As a student attending the University in town I got really lucky to find such great housing. What attracted me at first was the location. As a student who is supporting herself and cannot afford a car at the moment, it was very important that I find a place to live near a convenient shopping center. Granville Apartments is located a ten minute walk away from stores like Walmart and in walking distance of Foodmaxx, various fast food and dining in restaurants, as well as bus routes that start right outside the apartment. I currently live in a three bedroom apartment shared by my roommates and I. From the plants and grass being trimmed and kept neat, to the swimming pool area looking like it belongs in a summer housing catalog, everything about this place makes me feel proud that I can live here. The complex is gated and comes with a security guard, as well as 24/7 video surveillance. Each apartment unit consists of it's personal security system, which has its unique code that only you and the manager know. Once you enter the unit you have an area for a dining table, a coat closet, and then the living room which is carpeted, and it also includes a fire place. Then you see the kitchen which consists of a standard electric stove, a fridge, and a dishwasher. The rooms are two singles and a master that is comfortable for 2 people. The first two rooms have standard closets, but the master bedroom has the biggest closet, along with a wall of shelves. The bathroom in the master bedroom has two sinks, a standard bathtub and a toilet, the guest bathroom has the same but does not have the 1 extra sink. Directly outside is the laundry area that has a washer and dryer along with shelves and cabinets for storage. This unit comes with two patios, one attached to the master bedroom, and one that is located outside of the living room. The unit also includes a garage and parking inside the gated complex. Also the unit comes with an AC and heater. After a stressful day of classes, coming home to this paradise is amazing. The Jacuzzi, pool, and gym are located on site which is amazing for a young adult like me. A maintenance man is also always available to take care of any issues that require attention. This is an amazing place to live at especially in a town like Merced that doesn't have much to offer for the prices that are given. Granville apartments are safe, affordable, and definitely very appealing to the eyes.

Not even sure where to start. I believe the truth is always helpful. Is it a great place to stay? YES. Would I recommend it to my friend? YES. Yet make sure you know what to expect. All of the other comments, and advertisements are so great, but nobody mentions the train tracks right under the windows to those poor people who move in the apartments on the North side. The trains are just pulling and pulling the air horn its insane. I just think its unprofessional to cover this up before moving in. Several spas? There are only maybe 2 spas are operating, but one for sure! Again it is not a problem, still a great place, but misinforming future tenants is a really bad thing to do. Advertisements speaks about 6 hot tubs and there is only 1 that is active. The night ( day) security is great, but I haven't seen any one of them within the past 3 weeks, one of them likes to sit down at the pool and stare at girls in bikinis, yet I still consider Granville as a safe place to stay. Maintenance is great, when ever you call them they show up fast and fix the problems. Problem is nobody seems to notice and care about "little" things such as the pool gate is stuck for the past 1 month and people when they can't open it have to walk around the building, to the other side of the pool fences, using the other gate. It would only be a 10 minutes job to fix. The would be excellent if is wouldn't be a freezer at the same time with the ceiling fans blowing the freezing air in your face while using the machines. I see no reason why a gym should be this cold. It is very unhealthy. Cleaning the gym is intermittent though. About once every 2 weeks as it seems like. Management? Friendly? Sure and feels like pulling teeth when asking for something even though they are smiling. The apartments are nice, spacious. Water/sewer/garbage and garage is included in the rent. Washer and drier also included in the unit! GREAT! They allow you to grill on the patio. It is overall a great place to live, really. I would give a 5 star only if the management would be more professional to pay attention on the above mentioned details therefore give the same to tenants as what they are expecting and if they would be genuine and fair by advertising the truth, telling everyone straight up what to expect before hand.

Incredible apartments located in the center of Merced, close to big stores and the fastest route, Highway 59, to get to work or to school, like UC Merced. And the layout of the apartments are spacious enough to live comfortably, with new appliances and granite countertops in the kitchen and restrooms. And nonetheless, its a great looking gated community with security cameras, gym, pool, and jacuzzi.

I am a college student living in a three bedroom apartment. The price is fair for what you get. 24 hour security and incredible staff and maintenance. I have always been treated with respect and have never had a single complaint. Would definitely recommend these apartments.

I feel safe here with cameras, a rounding security guard, responsive manager if something on the grounds breaks, she fixes it. The complex is always clean. The gardeners are outside all weekdays. Each unit has a personal full size am washer/dryer. The gym is renovated and nice. Pool and jacuzzi is clean, each unit has a garage too. The only think I dislike is parking as there's sufficient but wish it was better. Other than that I would've scored 4:75 and would've gave 5 stars. I like the quietness too.

These are perfect apartments for college students, singles and small families. Everything is nearby -- grocery stores, a mall, one community college a mile away and a state university three miles away. the apartments have a pool and Jacuzzi with a gym attached that include aerobic and weight machines. All the apartments include laundry facilities and nice balconies. Each apartment renter also has a garage for storage and/or their vehicle. The best part is the manager and maintenance workers. They are very helpful with everything anyone needs.

Granville is reasonably priced in comparison to its surrounding competitors. When I heard that I would pay 955 a month for a two bed two bath apartment that offers a garage, washer and drier, pool, 6 spa's, gym and 24 hour safety (camera's, security guard and gates) I didn't believe the leasing agent. Granville also allows pets for 25 a month, which is a huge perk for this apartment complex. Most luxury apartment complexes charge around 50 pet rent, if they allow them at all. I have lived here for about 4 months now, and my only concern is that repairs get completed really slowly, if ever. So as long as you take care of your apartment you will be completely happy here. Its quiet, safe and overall a good value for the price.

Apartments located near Merced. Close to the railroad tracks but very quiet neighborhood. 2 Pools centrally located. Office staff is always friendly and on site mechanics/handymen fix almost any issue the same day you inform them about it at no cost to you (usually). Price is well worth the space given.

I have been a tenant at the Willowbrook Apartments about two years now. Ever since my family and I moved in we have felt at home. The office staff is amazing. They have always treated me very well. If I have any maintenance issues it is dealt with quickly. The upkeep of the entire grounds is something I admire. Both pool areas are relaxing and inviting. I appreciate the security that is provided at night as well as for the pools during the summer months. Playgrounds are enjoyable for my children.We haven't had a roach or rodent problem like we have had at other complexes in the past. Very clean and upkeep on pest control. The size if the apartment itself is my favorite part of living here. The layout is spacious and bathrooms are big. Hallways and doorways are wide so moving furniture was a breeze. Lots of cabinet space in the kitchen. Appliances work well. Washer and dryer hookups are a plus. Love living here. I feel like they go above and beyond to make tenants feel welcome and happy. Very satisfied tenant.

I moved to Granville in December 2009, believing I'd finally found a rental that felt like a real home, and each day I live here only confirms it! The complex is only ten years old, lushly landscaped, and it's rigorously maintained. Tenant requests are promptly responded to, whether it's a sticky door lock or a total furnace replacement. Lead maintenance engineer Cruz and manager Julie take great care of us! :) The monthly rent is very reasonable considering what you receive for no extra cost: water/sewer/weekly garbage pickup, as well as your own 1-car garage with electrical outlets. I have a large chest freezer in mine. One pet is allowed, which is also included in the rent. Online rent payment is/maintenance requests are available, nothing easier! :) Granville is also very convenient to public transportation, with both UC Merced and Merced County Transit bus stops just a short walk away. Shopping and dining options are just minutes away! :) For active tenants, Granville offers a fitness center, large swimming pool with extensive decking and seating options, several relaxing spas, and a 5-acre public park right next door. Spacious, covered decks with each unit offer the perfect outdoor grilling, relaxing space! :) I feel very safe living at Granville, with my own motion alarm, as well as a nightly roving security patrol. It's also a completely gated, quiet complex, and I've been blessed with good neighbors over the years! :) Interiors are modern, with large rooms and walk-in closets, prewiring for cable and ceiling fans, custom mini-blinds for immediate privacy, and decorator touches such as high ceilings, paneled doors, and oval master bathroom tubs. Beautiful granite counters in the bathrooms match those in the kitchen! Do I love cooking and entertaining in my huge gourmet kitchen, with loads of cabinets/counter space, a large pantry, and quality appliances, including an icemaker refrigerator and built-in, high-power microwave! :) An inviting gas fireplace with wide glass-topped mantel graces the living room, which opens to the kitchen. I also really appreciate warm gas heat in the winter! Absolutely nothing beats your own-full-size washer and dryer inside the unit, also included in the rent! My particular unit offers a split-bedroom/onsuite master bathroom plan, perfect for roommates! :) As you can see, I have nothing but good things to say about Granville Luxury Apartments, the best move you'll ever make! :)

I can not say enough about how incredible living in Granville Apartments has been for the last 6 months. I have lived in many of the apartment complexes in Merced and this is by far the best apartment I have lived in Merced. On the most basic level, these apartments all have excellent floor plans and include fireplace, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, washer, dryer, and a garage. An added benefit is that the electricity is on Merced Irrigation District which is substantially less expensive than PG&E and the apartments are energy efficient. The gym and pool area are well equipped and always clean. I have learned in all my years of living in apartments though that there is something that is far and few between, amazing staff. Julie, the manager, is incredibly organized and responsive to any question or concern that I have ever had. The maintenance staff is quick and efficient. Overall, this is an incredible place to live and I could not be happier that I move here. I plan on living here as long as I live in Merced.

I have been a resident at Granville Luxury apartments for the past three years. My peers are always moving every school years because their needs are not met by their landlords but my roommates and I have been loyal to Granville for three years. This is our senior year at the university of California Merced and our apartment has become our home away from home. Originally being from the San Fernando Valley, Modesto, and South San Francisco , my roommates and I feel safe and welcomed at our complex. The gated community and the 24 hour security helps our parents sleep at night knowing we are safe. The on call maintnece is always at your service and will fix anything you need, they even helped me with my car once. The gym is also a very nice asset to the already great complex. Most of all what makes our experience here at Granville great is the excellent management services. Our manager is there whenever we need and we also have an on call number where we can contact her in case of emergencies. Our home at Granville makes it hard to miss our homes in other cities.

My husband and I have been living in Glanville apartment for over 9months and it's a great place. We initially wanted a 2 bedroom for all our things but they didn't have any at the time. They maintain the apartments well inside and out. It's also quite and peaceful. Before moving here from out of town due to work, we looked all around Merced and this was the best apartment for the price. We live in a one bedroom apartment, washer and dryer included, fireplace, microwave, ice maker, gated community, pool and Jacuzzi, onsite surveillance and security, indoor alarm, patio, pets (allow with additional fee and guidelines), and rent is $855. The other places we looked at cost more and doesn't have half the features. In my opinion, very good price for a great apartment.

I am been living here last two years very nice and understandable staff. Big Clean pool, gym.. Nice and quiet neighborhood. I love it.. I always worked night shift sleep at day time no noice and calm and quiet area.. I ll highly recommend Granvilla luxury Appartments..... For wonderful life experience..??

I absolutely love this apartment complex! Feels like home with all new carpet and an updated interior and granite countertops. Super close to town and the colleges and the entire complex has a great atmosphere. Also has a great gym!

I was offered a job in the city of Merced, CA which is two hours away from the Bay Area (I am originally from Vallejo, CA). Granville Luxury Apartments was the very first apartment complex that popped up on my apartment search. The complex is very well maintained, well landscaped, and incredibly safe and quiet. Not knowing much about the area, I quickly learned its a great place to stay with quick access to the freeways, shops, and grocery stores. What sold me on the complex was the security alarm system, a full washer and dryer in each unit, and a garage.

I have rented here for almost 6 yrs so far and have very positive things to say about this place. The office staff are always very polite, friendly, and eager to help me with any problems that I have. The maintenance and security staff are exceptional. Service Repair Request Orders are addressed promptly. The complex itself is a nice getaway from traditional downtown Merced. The property is lined with trees and shade everywhere. The Pool Area is very clean and well maintained and the Exercise Room is very convenient for an early morning workout. The complex is located close to many bus stops which makes it convenient for College Student living. The rent is comparable to the current market value. I would highly recommend Granville Apartments to others.

Sparkling pool & lounge area, gym room, surveillance cameras throughout! Management provides excellent & efficient service to her tenants. Grounds staff are exceptional with maintenance. I ENJOY my spacious kitchen to cook those special meals for family, a few steps to my spacious garage is ideal! BEST CHOICE!

Living in a town that is ranked in the top 10 of worst crime rates in California, you want to find a safe place for you and your family. Well ladies and gentlemen, I give you Granville Apartments. With 24hr security guards and multiple surveillance cameras, this is in my opinion the safest place in Merced. These apartments have serenity and beauty. As you come into the front gate, you don’t feel like your entering an apartment complex, but rather a 5 star resort. The outside main pool is a state of the art oasis hidden in the rough city of Merced. Walking around the complex you are greeted with lush green scenery and friendly staff. The apartments itself are spacious with large balconies for barbeque during those warm summer nights. The apartment layouts are so well designed, my family and friends are in awe when they visit. I use to have concerns about my new car being ruined in rough weather, but now I don’t because every apartment at Granville comes with an one car garage. I truly recommend this facility to anybody that is planning to live in Merced. I guarantee you will not find anything better.

As a single mother moving into Granville apartments just seems like the right choice for us! Because of the nightly security guards I know on a first name basis, as well as the 24hr camera monitoring & completely gate complex. Management Julie and Cruz are extremely helpful! We have been here for nearly 3 years and it has kept us secure and safe ever since!

I have resided at the Granville Apts for 8 years. I am a single mother who works the night shift. Before I moved here I could not find a decent house or apt to rent. I looked for about a year until I came across Granville. These Apts have it all!!! A great manager to start with. Handy, friendly maintenance staff, and a well kept clean, quiet complex. It has 24 hour grounds surveillance that actually works and the complex is also gated. This is great for me since I work nights I feel safe with all the security measures. The Apts themselves are "very nice", spacious and have a good size patio. Full size washer n dryer and u even get your own garage without having to pay extra. They have a well equipped 24 hr gym and a clean pool with a jacuzzi. The complex is always very quiet and the manager is very quick to respond to any issues you report or may encounter. I would highly recommend the Granville Apartments if your looking for a quiet, comfortable and secure place to live.

Very spacious apartments. The pool and hot tubs are perfect any time, and the gym is also very convenient. There are various places to eat close by, and also multiple brand name stores. The overall complex is very well maintained, and the adjacent park allows for a nice view.

As a college student myself, it is important to live in a quiet environment. Living at the Granville Luxury Apartments provides great comfort and security in a wonderful area. The rooms are big, closet space is perfect and the kitchens are spacey and luxurious. These apartments are convenient for college students and also great for families.

This apartment is in the perfect spot and the inside of these places are so well insulated you can't hear your neighbors upstairs or next door. My apartment has tile floors in the kitchen, dining room and restrooms. My kitchen is very spacious and has beautiful granite counter tops and comes with Refrig, stove, dishwasher and microwave. The master bedroom has a huge walk-in closet and master bath with a lovely big shower/tub and a granite counter top. The apartment has an open floor plan and it makes the place feel twice the size on the inside. It also comes with a forced air fireplace that sets the perfect mood especially on those cold winter nights. If you work at or attend UCMerced, the apartment complex is one of the main stops for CatTraks even into the late evening. Shopping is within walking distance and is right off the 59, 5 minutes from downtown, and close to the freeway. All apartments also come with a balcony or porch and a big single car garage. The Office staff are great and so is the maintenance crew. The complex comes with a pool and covered seating areas, several hot tubs, and a newly furnished workout area with all new equipment, nightly security patrol and it is a gated complex.
