The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Grandview Apartments
Apartments over all are just functional. They are pretty run down but as long as things work they don’t replace anything. Parking is really bad. I’ve seen them tow people that live there. They need to figure out a better parking plan or gate the parking lots. Absolutely no reason to tow people that pay rent.
When I pulled on to the complex it was cluttered with trash, and I noticed several people with dogs that didn't pick up their waste. The snow removal could be better too. I overheard what looked to be two male employees talking very loudly with foul language which was a turn off in itself. They were standing outside the office smoking with who I assume is the manager, and as I was parking my car I also overheard the two males talking about getting high and watching a movie with sexual content I cannot bring myself to repeat. The manager seemed young, and inexperienced along with a high and mighty attitude. She was laughing and carrying on with the two males which seemed a bit concerning. When I went in the office with her she seemed annoyed to be helping me. She was rude, and she stunk of cigarettes. I don't even know why I bothered getting information from her. I was turned off by her cigarette breath and her attitude, along with the two males' conversation outside. I would not live here or recommend it to my worst enemy!
Property Manager at Grandview Apartments, Responded To This Review
In response to your review, We are little confused, and wondering if you may have mistaken us for a different property? None of our maintenance employees smoke and are so busy it would be impossible for them to be standing around at all. The Property Manager has been a manager for 20 years and would never be rude to a customer or a resident for any reason. We would love the opportunity to speak to you and help you with any information regarding our property. Sincerely, Grandview Meadows Team
I lived at Grandview (45th St) for 5 years. The last year was horrible. The new management appeared disinterested in landlord'ing. I had a screen door leak for over a year, a water-fall esque ceiling leak for 3 months when it would rain and a positive mold test. After being told there's "mildew all over the apartments and its nothing to worry about" by the head of maintenance I decided to get out of there. Since moving, I generally feel much better, my food doesn't mold. Grandview is cheaper than most but it's worth it to live elsewhere! They did take 8 hours of labor and carpet cleaning fees from my deposit for a moldy apartment that required a redo, anyway, too.

We are sorry you were not happy at Grandview apartments. We appreciate your comments and will work with staff to improve our customer service and will make sure maintenance understands it is imperative to fix issues in a timely manor. We wish you the best and thank you for your tenancy. Take care.
I live with my two older brothers. And the apartment we live in is decent. I have a tiny tiny tiny room but it's do able. My brothers have the biggest rooms in the apartment. Our neighbors are kind of respectful but they think they can park in the closest parking spots to the door but that's not true... other people live there too. This is my first apartment living in, and I do not like paying rent. I don't think anyone does. It's a little expensive but not too bad. Free rent would be AWESOME!
