Golden Gardens

My wife and I, along with our five kids, moved into Golden Gardens earlier this year, and it’s truly been a great experience. The property is beautifully maintained, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. But what really makes this place feel like home is Louisa, the office manager. She’s not only incredibly kind and welcoming, but she also goes above and beyond to support the residents. Whether it’s answering questions, resolving issues quickly, or just greeting everyone with a smile, Louisa brings a personal touch that makes a huge difference. She’s the heart of this community, and a big reason why our family loves living here so much.

This was my first apartment on my own as well as with my boyfriend. The location isn't the best for the price they're asking for but the management (Tasha) is amazing. She was always on top of communication, any problems/complaints we had, responded in a timely matter and made it her best effort to make sure her tenants were comfortable and happy. We were extremely happy with Tasha and we're so fortunate to have had an amazing experience the first time we got our own apartment with management. She set the bar very high for what we expect from management for our future homes. If we could take Tasha with us for our next apartment, we would! The property itself was a little messy due to so many kids being outside. The biggest issue we had was we just didn't have our own W/D in our unit. We used the properties Washer and Dryers and it made my skin very itchy which we were then unable to continue to use them. They also have a gym insight that was Ok but a lot of kids were going in and out while we tried working out which created a lot of frustration. Overall, our experience at Golden Gardens wasn't too bad. Just need to fix up their property for the price they're asking for!

High rent, poor area, not safe, not clean, if they fix anything its shady work at best. Infested with rats and roaches. They rent to drug sellers and abusers, not a high wnd place they try to make it to be. I would not recommend this complex to my worst enemy if I had any. Not a safe place for families.

The apartments look nothing like the stage unit they show you the "remodle" is shoddy at best and let's not forget the cockroach infestation. Also they dont do anything about noise here. Kids cuss and run amock no parent supervision. Neighbors smoke pot which comes into the apartments since the doors arent properly sealed. Theres also always a problem staff is not helpful and hardly ever in the office if they arent shutting off the water for hours it's something else. For the price of rent you do not get what you pay for the price.

Such a family friendly environment here! The managers are great at making sure each tenant is well taken care of and gets problems fixed quickly!

You see the pictures they are nothing like that. The so called remodel of the apartments is a joke, they painted walls and changed out the appliances and add counter tops to old wood! Shady work just ask any tenant who took the bait and moved into a remodel. All they did was jack up the rent, not worth what they are charging. The safe neighborhood they claim to half is laughable at best. FPD is constantly there! The new owners are making a huge profit off of these run down apartments. Not taking the time to do things right, just finding a cheap way to complete work if they complete anything at all! Nothing against the new managers they seem nice but can you really trust people who have the knowledge of the shady work and are not really doing anything about it! Just stating my observation enter at your own risk.

This apartment complex is lively and very family friendly. Never a moment that I've felt uncomfortable. The office leasing agent is warm, friendly, and makes you feel at home. Layout of the apartments is favorable as well, and bedrooms are decent-sized. Grounds are also well-kept, with no trash strewn all over the place. This place is worth a look!

The time that I've been in this apartments it has been a disappointment! They have poor management skills and the maintenance is horrible he doesn't know how to do his job at all! To be honest I think that his relative to the manager that's why he gets away with doing a horrible job. Also, when the manager has a party or one of her family member she closes the swim pool area and that's not fair for the tenants. The units are full of cockroaches and it don't matter how many times they spray. Another huge issue is that the apartments are dirty and when I say that is because where ever you look at theirs trash and that's because the maintenance guy is not doing his job. To be sincere the manager only cares about herself and her relatives that live in this apartments and it's not fair. I understand when people don't want to speak out because their afraid etc... I think the owner should put more attention to his properties and once a month send someone to see how are things looking. It's just sad to live in this conditions and to be honest I cannot wait till I move out from these apartments and I don't recommend to nobody unless you really need a place to live in. Hopefully in the future things will change for the better!!!!!

I just signed a lease yesterday and am breaking it on Tuesday since there closed Sundays and Monday is a holiday, I'm very disappointed in the management at these apartments. I looked inside b4 signing the lease and sure it looked nice inside nothing to be found today I decided to go look again b4 I moved my stuff in and there were big and baby roaches in the bathroom kitchen living room and dining area. I have kids and won't have be paying 7something a month to live uncomfortable

Infested , showed a nice clean place onc got the place it's full of roaches no matter how clean you are it stays infested even with all the constant spraying they do. My car got its licence plate stolen and soon after the windows were all shattered, full of drugies

If you had a choice of your car or these apartments 99% of the tenants will choose their car. Horrible disgusting place to live. I cry every time I open my eyes. Roaches are literally everywhere inside outside just a gross place to live. I am very clean but the problem is they use the cheap stuff if they do send someone out. They show pictures of new countertops but the wood that it is on is like 25 years old infested with bugs and God knows what else. Management hires family and friends to do repairs and to spray its just bad. hopefully the city steps up see what a dump that place is and make them fix or tear it down.

These apartments look great at first 7 months in a infestation began not due to my cleanliness but an ongoing problem management refuses to handle I urge everyone to be cautious about renting here
