Property Ratings at GLEN PLACE APARTMENTS
I signed a short lease here, and boy am I glad I did. I am a 28 year old working professional, I was never late on a single bill while staying here. When I moved in, it took 5 days for my oven to be fixed. When winter started, the landlord tried to tell us tenants that we had control of the heat, but the thermostats were locked by premier real estate management, so we had no heat the first two weeks of cold weather up here. Upon move out, I was told that it would take up to 21 days maximum to get my deposit, because it is Minnesota law. I said so laws make it ok for you to view a bad company? All the landlord did was laugh and said it should be sooner, that was the maximum. I called the comPany today, on day 21, she said she was about to mail it. So basically if I didn't call they were going to break the law too. It's your money, it's your life, but I would spend my money and live somewhere else, not managed by premier real estate management, they're crooks. Ulysses (formerly in apartment 5A)
Management is awesome and we've always been able to contact them and be in touch with them which is extremely important to me. It is a little pricey but great management and great lake view.
Overall a good place to live. The apartment manager and maintenance guy are amazing. Although the recent remodel has given some good upgrades, it also has raised rent astronomically. The apartments are now smaller and overall lack the 'luxury' of other apartments for a similar cost. The best things are that they allow dogs, the manager is great, and there is off street parking.
My apartment is located in the beautiful town of Duluth in Minnesota.It sits ontop of a hill overlooking the beautiful Lake Superior! It has a breath taking view of this lake! I love my apartment, it's up to date and really cozy! One of the best you can find for an affordable price! A great place to live!
