Coming to The Fields in May 2022, the seven-story Gideon will feature a collection of luxury living spaces revealing gorgeous interiors including studio, one, two and three-bedroom designs. With an intimate 213 units, Gideon provides a small community charm, with the luxury amenities signature to The Fields. To experience the high life, residents will enjoy a pool, spa, clubhouse, demo kitchen, LED screen, and barbecues all from the rooftop. While the other communities of The Fields pay homage to accomplishments in modern science, Gideon is a celebration of some of the earliest discoveries in the life sciences—named for Gideon Mantell, the British paleontologist who discovered four of the five generations of dinosaurs known during this time. As a tribute to the community’s namesake, original works of art exuding a modern-yet-organic sensibility will enhance nearly every aspect of the living experience.

Just north of San Jose, nestled between 880 and 680, lies the bustling little metropolis of Midtown Milpitas. Home to great shopping, industrial offices, and Silicon Valley businesses, apartment hunters are often drawn to Midtown because of its great schools and affordable housing.
Milpitas is located at the very northeast edge of the South Bay and at the south edge of the East Bay area, which makes it ideal for commuters going in either direction as well as people who live and work downtown. Close to the ocean and popular with area shoppers, Milpitas is hidden gem in the greater San Francisco area.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Gideon
We have been one of the early residents of Gideon (since Aug 2022). Here are my reasons for 1 start review. 1. The insulation and flooring of the apartment building is terrible. Normal foot traffic causes stomping noises and this leads to false complaints. 2. We had a massive pest infestation that needed attention. 3. The hot water system was busted and the water pressure was abysmal. It took around 2 days to be fixed. 4. Our dishwasher broke down and it took a week to get fixed. This was after we called in to escalate the issue. The gym is great and the staff is amenable. But the above 4 concerns are pretty major concerns.
Property Manager at Gideon, Responded To This Review
We understand how important it is for our residents to live in a comfortable and quiet environment. We apologize for the inconvenience you faced with the hot water system and dishwasher. It's our goal to resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner, and we're sorry that it took longer than expected in these cases. We're glad to hear that you enjoy our gym facility and find our team amenable. We value your input and will take it into consideration as we continue to strive for improvements in our community. Thank you again for sharing your perspective with us.
