Property Ratings at Gateway Apartments
These are brand new builds, which means that you don’t have other people‘s mess that lived there before you. No stinky carpet, no bashed in walls, no smoke smell – any of that stuff. It’s like you’re moving into a brand new home. They market themselves as luxury apartments, and I would have to agree. Between the hardwood floors and the. Specific appliances and a view of the lake! No, don’t be fooled. This is a brand new build and it’s a work in progress. Mark has not figured out how to wave his magic wand and all the buildings and all the amenities in the clubhouse and the grass just magically appear, but I think some of those minor details are my new compared to what you get by living here. Although the clubhouse is not done, there is an office on site. Mary do an incredible job of making sure that the place is clean and well maintained and is very good at addressing the needs of the residence. Whether she’s in her office, scheduling projects or out picking up trash or simply walking around talking to residence and addressing any needs that they might have, we are blessed to have this young lady as the property manager. And Mark is not your average owner. He is in tune and relevant. He found out that I had some concerns that might turn into issues and before I even knew that he knew he was on the phone with me, wanting me to sit down with him and have a discussion. He was attentive and either solicited my ideas in being able to make the facility a better quality place to live or explaining to me why things were happening the way that they were. Mary and Mark are both definitely class acts! If you let this one go, you haven’t helped yourself any!

When we decided to downsize from our large house, I began the process of seeing what was out there! I came across "Luxury Apartment." The pictures were beautiful> A luxury apartment I could afford. When I went to check it out, they did not disappoint! Hardwoods, complete appliance package and much more - including a view of the lake!!! But think about this... you are coming into a brand-new facility - no smoke smell - no pet or baby stench - no banged up walls - none of the things that can come with owning an apartment. The trade off? It's brand new and a work in progress! The club house is on its way. The yards are seeded but the grass is still on its way. Sometimes we have to be patient and prioritize. BRAND NEW LIVING!! And the staff... They may be the best part. Mary is present and knowledgeable! Excellent manager. Her door is always open, and she is always out and about checking on the property and talking to residents. Class act! Mark is more than an owner. When he heard I had questions that could turn into issues, he had me on the phone scheduling a sit down one-on-one!! Again - people in charge that make it easy to live here. I am 100% glad I made the choice to live at Gateway. And I am sure you will to!!

Extremely unprofessional, maintenance never answers when you put in a request, no leasing office instead, they are using an apartment as the leasing office. For the longest time, May was an issue. By far not luxury all the equipment is cheap. Electrical inspections have not been done. And I hear that foundation inspections have not been done as well. Seems as if they are waiting till the beginning of the month to collect everybody’s rent to get small Jobs done, grass has been dug up due to lack of money paying someone to come and mow the property. I would give this place a 0 if I could.
