Extending from Old Hammond Highway south to roughly Perkins Road, the downtown Baton Rouge neighborhood of Bocage provides easy access to many Baton Rouge locations, including Baton Rouge Community College, Baton Rouge Country Club, and Louisiana State University. I lived in this complex for 3 years; the first two years were very pleasant. However, the third year was hell. Daniel and Elizabeth have the worst attitudes; they are very unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this complex to anyone.

I wanted a larger place for me, my fiancé and our fur babies. Instead of looking outside of the complex I inquired within and found there were 3 bedroom units. It is peaceful here and management is fantastic!

Great apartment in a prime location—close to tons of shops and restaurants, which makes everything super convenient. The staff and neighbors are friendly, and it’s relatively quiet most of the time. Overall, a solid spot to live.

Its Pretty quiet and the neighbors are very Friendly, the gym is also very clean and convenient. The only thing i would critique is the dogs barking around 9:00 pm, however its not very often and isn't very loud. Overall i love my apartment and i love the area its in.

This place is nice in a great location! I took a star because I don’t like seeing people waiting at the office for residents to come open the gate on the way home, I’m sure it’s regular stuff for apartments. Just want to mention it to at least put a sign out or get a camera to capture footage with a flash and see what could be done. I get off late and the office was closed when I saw a car sitting at the bank close by. I paid no attention because this car wasn’t at the office, soon as I opened the gate they sped up super fast and creepy to my bumper nearly hitting me… just to tail me in while the gate open!! I thought I had brought something dangerous in. (In case I’m new to that issue) the only raises of concern is If you live there- you use your key and code.. If you dash/ there for resident- call and use gate code or given key. If you waiting at the office, tailing in? Who don’t know you coming and gave you no key or code?? I sometimes have a few ladybugs in my house ??#goodluck

The staffs are good people. Levi is our maintenance guy and he is wonderful. Takes great care of the residents and get the job done. Walls and floors are really thin. You can hear loud footsteps, noises, banging, etc. If you don’t care about the noises your neighbors make then this place isn’t so bad.

Neutral. Parking isn’t so luxury, apartment isn’t so luxury, tub constantly stopping up, dryer constantly not drying clothes. To say I’ve lived in Luxury apartments before, this isn’t as luxury as the price seems. It’s luxury for the location.

I love the location! It’s easy to access and feels very safe. The maintenance staff is also super helpful. I haven’t had many issues that needed fixing, but the 2 times something came up, they fixed it right away.

I enjoy staying at the Gates at Citiplace The environment is safe for you and family. Office does plans activities where residents are able to pretake in. Everyone love doing things for the kids in the complex. The maintenance team is always on point and meets your every need.

This is a great apartment with great staff and a responsive maintenance team. However, our community recycling bin was removed with no explanation and the parking lot and roads need to be repaved. The potholes are huge

This property is truly top-tier! While it may be an older complex, especially with all the newer developments in Baton Rouge but I can confidently say that living here has been a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it! The manager, Elizabeth, is exceptional. After living in many apartments, I’ve never encountered such a compassionate and attentive person in management. She listens, genuinely cares, and leads a FANTASTIC team. Lula and Kaitlyn are always an absolute pleasure to interact with whether you’re visiting the office or calling in, they go above and beyond to ensure you’re taken care of. Maintenance here is beyond impressive—10/10! The property is impeccably maintained, and any issues are addressed promptly. It’s rare to find such a well-rounded, dedicated team, but Gates has truly assembled a dream team! Thank you all for making this place feel like home!

Kaitlyn was my leasing agent throughout the entire process. I loved your professionalism and accessibility. She willingly answered all my questions thoroughly and respectfully, whether via telephone or email. I love the property, it’s quiet and peaceful especially since we’re close to the interstate. So far the maintenance work order completions are great. I’ve placed at least 2 orders and they were completed within 24 hours if not the same day.

The staff was always there and willing to help. Majority, if not all, maintenance request was taken care of that day, and if it wasn't, was taken care of the next day. The complex was well taken care of, from the trash to the cleanliness of the pool and landscape. Very peaceful and loving community. Good pricing. The only issue was the constant bugs that would get within my apartment even after I complained, and the complex re-sealed it. The majority would die right at the door due to there pest control, but the issue still was the bugs getting into my apartment. Overall a great experience.

Overall I really enjoy this community. My only gripe is that it seems to be a dead space for my cell reception. The amenities are excellent and the upkeep of the grounds is fantastic

Highly recommend this apartment complex. They are very attentive to maintenance needs when necessary. Like that it’s gated, love the updated appliances, and the washer & dryer in our one bedroom apartment. The layout of the apartment is very comfortable in size with living room, dining area, kitchen, double sinks in bathroom with soaking tub/shower, walk in closet and bedroom large enough to have a king size bed!

For a family with small kids in the middle of downsizing, this place is absolutely perfect. Love the sense of community here, lots of kids and families. We made the right decision in moving here.

So far I am very pleased with my experience at the Gates at Citiplace complex. I have been very pleased with the supportive staff, especially Lula--the leasing agent I've dealt with onsite. She has been extremely helpful, kind & patient throughout the signing & move-in process.

I quite like living at the Gates. The apartments are clean, and it has great amenities. My only issue is the AC continuously goes out. As in, the AC is set to 67 and it is 77-80 degrees. Maintenance continues to come out and declares it fixed, however after at least the 7th time it has become a major issue for myself and my partner.
