About Gaslight Apartments Affordable Senior Housing
We are a proud Retirement Housing Foundation property on the east edge of Converse. We're about 15 minutes from Marion and 30 minutes from Wabash, Peru and Kokomo. We have one bedroom and studio apartments for persons 62 and over or for persons 18 and over with a mobility impairment. We have a Community Room, laundry room and exercise room for everyone to use. We are a smoke-free community and pet friendly. We have porch swings and picnic tables under the trees where the residents gather in the early evenings and enjoy each other's company. In addition to the admission requirements regarding age, our 2020 income limit is $22,900 gross income per year for a single person household. We operate under the Section 202/8 HUD housing assistance program. It provides assistance based on rent amounts equal to 30% of your adjusted income.
