Garfield Club Apartments

They don't fix anything heat is controlled by the owner. I haven't had any heat all winter. I been here for years. My light bill is very high but I got a percentage off the rent for one month. I'm planning on moving rent goes up every year. No help with maintenance if anything goes wrong apartment outdated. I think it needs to be updated in these apartments. Rent shouldn't go up every year and your apartments outdated. I like the property manager just not satisfied with the treatment of living here paying my rent and something goes wrong I can't get help. If something goes wrong you might as well forget about it getting fix . All they want is your money every month. And yes they will tow your car fast if you park in a tenant parking area. You better have some money to get it out it's expensive. I see people post mice I haven't seen it don't want to see it or roaches or my lease will be broken the same day.

I had a chance to speak with the property manager there. A nice young lady who seemed to really love her job and care for the tenants. I just really wish the property wasn’t at full occupancy at the time.

TERRIBLE! LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE. These people do not care about there tenets. My car was towed even tho my car is registered and registration tag was visible. My apartment was roach and rat infested. When I moved out these people charged me $100 for a smallest crack in the freezer. I spoke to someone by the name of Ned Wasserstein which told me via email “ I did zoom in as close as I could and really it was not damaged.“ but still charged me which is INSANE!! I was setup for automatic payment these idiots were taking the wrong amount out and accuse me of not paying my rent. Nothing is up to date in apartment and you can’t control the heat. My apartment was 85 degrees in the spring. I complained to Sandy and the only thing she could say was “idk what’s wrong with the heat” and refused to have someone come out and check it. The walls are so thin you can hear EVERYONES conversation. This was the worst experience I have ever had. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!TERRIBLE! LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE. First i'll start with when we first moved in the carpet was disgusting, tub wasn't clean, and they had paint all over everything. I was in the apartment closest to the woods, BAD IDEA! We got ants terribly and then after we got the ants to go here come the MICE. Come to find out this is a normal thing you could literally hear them in the walls or see them dart across the floor in the evening. Last thing is the parking they were having an issue with visitors parking in resident parking so they started going crazy with the tow truck. You would go to bed just to wake up to your car gone. I knew several residents including myself that got wrongfully towed and they could have cared less about reimbursing. Just save yourself the trouble you could find a better apartment for the price they're asking for this dump. WORST YEAR EVER!

First..They have mice annually as the weather starts to get nice. It doesn’t matter if you’re clean or not because they will come into your apartment and make themselves at home. Second...they said there were no dogs allowed but I’ve seen residents sneaking dogs on the property. Third...we’ve called the landlord several times about our garbage disposal because it was broken and nobody came to fix it. Lastly...they didn’t clean the apartment before we moved in. The tub was dirty and there was dust and dirt everywhere.
