The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Garden Park Apartments
The heat pump in my apartment suddenly started malfunctioning, drawing excessive current even when it was turned off. I reported the problem to the Garden Park office and they sent a professional HVAC repairman to check it out, and he determined that I should have a new heat pump unit installed. So, about an hour later, three Garden Park maintenance personnel arrived with a brand new, state-of-the-art Zoneline heat pump and had it installed in a little more than an hour. I was really impressed with their technical expertise, competence, and efficiency. Thank you, Garden Park.
bedbugs and roaches. not always treated in a timely manner.
Property Manager at Garden Park Apartments, Responded To This Review
We are deeply sorry to hear about this complaint. We take pest control very seriously here and immediately address any and pest control situations that we are made aware of. We aim to always provide a pest free home at move. Our management team is unaware of any outstanding issues with pest control.
I've been a resident at Garden Park Apartments for the last two years and have nothing but good things to say about the apartment, location, staff and maintenance! The last item being very important - the two or three minor issues were addressed quickly by the maintenance staff in a professional and timely manner. The semi-rural location at Pea Ridge is great - very woodsy and far from the maddening crowd. The apartment was just as advertised: super clean, furnished and with all the devices needed to make living easy - and best of all - lots and lots of storage space to include a large walk-in closet. The neighbors are polite and helpful. Best of all - the apartments are sound proof and I never hear the neighbors. The location near shopping at Barboursville is very nice. Kroger has a large supermarket within one mile of Garden Park Apartments. The Huntington Mall is only 15 minute drive away. Downtown Huntington is not much more of a drive. Location, Location, LOCATION! You have it at Garden Park Apartments!
The apartments were so nice and the staff was always willing to help. Pet friendly and I felt very secure in the area.
