The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Garden Oaks Apartments
It has been a great place to build community at Garden Oaks. I have found many friendships with the down-to-earth people here. Hector is a steady and incredible superintendent of the facilities. He is responsive, understanding, and supportive in taking care of us. I love the neighborhood we are in and appreciate the access to parks and lovely walks. A few notes that hold back from a perfect experience... Management has revolved a fair bit. Joseph seems like a great addition; I hope he sticks around. Without central air conditioning (and with great windows), the second floor apartments can get really toasty in the summer! The numbering three buildings (806, 808, and 810) can create confusion for people to find the right apartment and for deliveries to work out. It seems like a simple fix to get more signage and maps.
The apartments are very spacious, with a lot of natural sunlight. There is ample storage room, and the price is very affordable for the area. The management is responsive and goes out of their way to help. Overall a great bargain. The insulation may be a little bit lacking yes, but the neighbors are extremely quiet so haven't had any issues with that.

Living at 810 Coleman Ave has been a great experience! The location is fantastic — close to downtown Menlo Park, Stanford, and easy access to Caltrain. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, with plenty of trees and walking paths nearby. The building is well-maintained, and any maintenance requests are handled quickly. Overall, it’s a peaceful and comfortable place to live in a great part of the Bay Area. - FL

I had toured and talked to so many apartments and Ana from Garden Oaks talked to me as everyone should be talked to. She was sweet, timely and efficient. This place for the price was a real jewel of a find! I am so fortunate to have met and talked with Ana! I already love my place and I’ve barely lived there a day. Finding a home is beyond difficult especially for someone that has just graduated from undergrad and they gave me this opportunity to finally have a place to call my home! The location is great and the complex itself is homey :)))
I have worked with Ana, the Community Manager, and Hector, the Maintenance Manager, for some time now. Out of the many community managers I know, Ana sticks out from the rest. She is attentive and responsive, and truly wants the best for the tenants. She goes above and beyond to ensure the tenants feel accommodated. Hector has a wealth of expertise and knowledge that is unmatched at many properties. As the Maintenance Supervisor, he works extremely hard and takes pride in his craftsmanship. The property is in good hands with him and you get the feeling that the Garden Oaks team really has your back. 5/5 Highly Recommend!
We lived at Garden Oaks Apt for a little over two years. We had a very pleasant and convenient stay with no issues the entire time. The apt is very cozy, beautiful and peaceful. The neighborhood is very safe and great for evening strolls. The property manager, Christina, is wonderful! She is always helpful and attentive to the residents. The maintenance crew, especially Hector, are prompt and great with service. I would highly recommend this apartment in the Menlo Park/Palo Alto area.
Had an amazing experience living here. We were here for 15 months and had a great time! Christina has been super helpful throughout COVID. Her team has been super responsive and never had any issues. We lived in a 2BR1Ba apartment unit.
The walls are incredibly thin. If you live on the first floor you hear hear every footstep above you. If you live on the second floor you can hear your neighbors conversations. Windows are all single pane so during the summer it can reach north of 100 degrees in the apartment (no AC unit either). DO. NOT. LIVE. HERE.

Thank you for your valuable comments and we appreciate your feedback. Kind regards, Management
Working with Christina has been great! Also the apartment complex was nice and repairs happened quickly.
Living in a 2nd floor 2b2b apt, the units are generally very comfortable. Units are very spacious (don't know exact measurements, but I estimate just over 1000 sq ft) with two large bedrooms (14x11 ft) with walk-in closet, 3 storage closets in hallway/living room, large living room with separate dining corner, a very usable balcony (not much privacy though since it faces a center court with many other balconies) and a basic but functional kitchen with dishwasher and hood over the electric range. While comfortable, apartments are basic with no A/C and relatively low-rent appliances. Clean paintwork, but the thick carpet in the rooms isn't exactly straight. Walls are thin but most residents are very quiet. Mix of couples/friends and families with small children. Several laundry rooms across the property, mostly very clean and sufficient capacity on weekends too. One covered and one non-covered parking spot per unit. Sizeable and well-kept pool area and surprisingly good landscaping. Trash dumpster can get a little full but out of sight for most. Management is very responsive and most repairs are carried out fast (one exception due to delayed delivery of appliance). Strict enforcement of rules regarding noise, balcony and pool usage.
The apartments are a filthy mess. Nothing gets fixed, the laundry machines never work, no air conditioning. Terrible customer service. Do not rent here.
