Property Ratings at Garden Manor Apartments
This is the worst possible apartment complex to live in. We completely cleaned the place at the end of our lease for 5 hours and it was spotless only to receive our deposit back stating they needed 6 additional hours to clean the place after we already had. The lady that cleans the units knocked on our door while we were cleaning and seemed to be annoyed we were doing her job for her. But obviously she still was able to scam us for 6 hours of "work" at $20 per hour, so we got ripped off $120 from our deposit back. When contacting the property, they didnt remotely seem concerned that their cleaning lady was scamming past tenants with her supposed "cleaning" she was doing. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Never ever live at Garden Manor! They charge you for pre-existing conditions when you move out! My husband and I filled out a condition report when we first moved in, and we're told we would receive our deposit back if the units condition matched our move in condition report or better. We left the unit in much better condition then what we moved into. We ended up never receiving our deposit back and even received a bill from Garden Manor telling us we owed them 150 dollars. When trying to call them to talk to them about why we were being charged instead of given back our deposit, they rudely handled the situation and told us that they would send the bill to collections if we didn't pay. When telling them we would report them if they didn't give us back our money they ghosted all of our calls, and we have never heard from them or have seen any of our money back! They don't care about their tenants or their property conditions! Do not rent from here unless you are ok with management stealing your money! Worst management ever!
They charged me for stains that were there when I moved in and they lie to you so you will move out early and pay you back the days you weren't there. Thats not true so not listen to them!!! Most unprofessional managers ever!!! They suck!! Also you are guaranteed to not get deposit back! They also wrote my check to the wrong person not even me. Now I have to wait to get my actual check even longer then the first time. Like I said UNPROFESSIONAL STAY AWAY!!!
Garden Manor Apartments in Cheney may be an older apartment complex. However, the managers are very nice and the complex is quiet. There is a good mix between smaller families, couples, and college students living there. Friendly neighbors and a gas station located across the street. Prices are also very comparable to surrounding apartments.
