Property Ratings at French Quarters
Too many issues to list for this place - horrible smells in the buildings including cigarette smoke, trash, vomit, burning food, constant excessive noise from neighboring units which only worsened with each complaint to management, frequent issues with laundry machines and tenants leave items in the machines for days at a time, packages are often stolen from lobbies, neighbors buzz your unit at all hours if they forget their keys. Liquid dripping into the apartment from the upstairs unit on several occasions, leaving nasty stains on the ceiling and huge puddles to clean up. Management requested "evidence" of noise from neighbors and ultimately said it's nearly impossible to evict anyone so call the police - meanwhile, noise is disrupting sleep, working from home, etc. and only gets worse because they know there is no consequence. The option given when management was asked about terminating the lease early to escape the noise they refused to address was - pay thousands of dollars to exit the lease early. Proceed with caution if you're considering this place. Rents have increased by over 50% in the last 2-3 years and the conditions have worsened exponentially.
