French Colony

Just moved in but no complaints at all. Very quiet & all the people i've encountered have been very nice & welcoming.

When you drive onto the property, it is pleasing to the eye and kept very clean and neat. The apartments are very nicely designed, some having 2 bedrooms with 2 full bathrooms with walk in closets and closet space for washer and dryer off of the kitchen. There are also washers and dryers on property for those who do not have the in apt. hookup. Bed rooms are large and bright. 2 large pools are always monitored during the summers and are properly maintained weekly. There is also a gathering room available for family gathers or special occasion party's for a fee. There is a small area with workout machines and is key pad entry only. Security cameras are in all the parking areas of the property so safety is being covered. Pets are allowed so you can bring your furry babies with no worries. We've lived here for a few years and we are very happy here. The location is close to shopping and restaurants and the people in the office as well as the people you meet are so friendly. I would definitely recommend French Colony to anyone looking for a nice affordable place to live.

As a resident of almost 3 years. I can say unequivocally, that every time I have entered the office here at French Colony Apartments, I have been greeted with a warm friendly hello. You are always treated as a member of the family. They are ready to take a moment to sit and visit especially, if you have an idea on how they can make improvements. Service Calls are a breeze as they take your maintenance request very seriously and fully discuses the issue before a job order is drawn up. You are given a time and date as to when to expect your maintenance to be provided. I have never had to ask the office where or when to expect them. Did I mention they are very prompt? No residence is perfect, but the ladies here, want to know where or how improvements can be made. They do not want an issue to develop as a result of not knowing what, where, when or why. Some apartments have washer dryer hook ups and some not. There is a laundromat on site as well as a key coded 24hr locked gym, meeting and party room also available. Now after all that work moving in you will need to relax at one of the two monitored pools, especially on these hot summer afternoons. Another thing keep in mind is French Colony is just off the main road (Gloria Switch) so there is no heavy traffic passing thru our community. The entry road and property have security cameras through out. Did I mention you will be so close to Schools, Shopping and Restaurants? Even your fur baby is welcome. Give the ladies a call and set up a walk through. You can thank me latter, after you decide to join our neighborhood . I will be at the pool chilling out.

Maintenance is amazing! They are extremely quick and courteous. They make sure everything is working properly and they have great work ethics. They do a great job with keepIng the complex looking beautiful!

The gym is two mirrored walls with two broken workout machines for the 4 years I have been here. Maintenance is a joke. Black mold. Cars broken into and two murders last week.

I've been living at this apartment complex for two years and I LOVE IT. The office staff is very friendly and welcoming every time I go into the office. The maintenance crew is very timely and swift. This apartment complex is very clean and quiet. I would recommend anyone to stay here if its affordable for them. I really enjoy staying here.

I just love living here, I enjoy the country atmosphere. My apartment has 2 very large bedrooms with their own bathrooms. There's washer and dryer connections. Nice living area with fireplace. I've lived here for 8yrs, and is very content. The landscape yard is always meticulously well kept, and clean. You're always greeted with a pleasant hello, when entering the office, from the staff. Oh, there are 2 pools, and a jacuzzi. A very classy place to live.

wonderfully clean complex. grounds are groomed daily. my apt itself is a large 2 bd 2 bath, all new appliances and paint when I moved in in November 2014. very quiet community with good neighbors

i was very impressed with the overall presentation of the complex. i have not yet looked at an apartment, but have put down a deposit for a 2/2 awaiting notice on availability for mid-to-late november as move in date........

Some info on here is incorrect. The "fitness room" is a mirrored closet with 2 pieces of equipment, no a/c, and costs you 40$ to sign up. The pet deposit is a total of 500$ with 300$ of that being non refundable. The office staff is older women that I find very rude. My fully updated 1 bedroom apartment has bubbly laminate floors because they were installed so poorly, my 2 cieling fans both broke after the first few months, there's NO storage, heater doesn't work, shower keeps breaking, the towel bar was installed into sheet rock so it falls down constantly. Honestly, I pay for the proximity to my job. Otherwise, I hate this apartment.

There was a huge lack of professionalism there. Upon interest to fill a vacancy I was never offered an opportunity to see an apartment. After I was cleared through credit approval no one offered once again to give me a tour of the apartment complex, informed about amenities, & given the keys to view an apartment and had to find which building and unlock it myself. No one asked if I liked the facilities or had any questions. I do not recommend this location at all.

One of the pictures for this property is captioned "1 Bedroom : In-unit Laundry," but management says that one bedroom units do not have W/D or hookups.

Very nice and quiet. Lovely pool area. Great party room.
