When it comes to convenience, it doesn't get much better than our location just off Highway 65 and W Henderson Avenue. Errand-busting locations like Walmart, Target, Save Mart, and Food 4 Less are not miles, but only feet away, making that last-minute trip to get that final ingredient truly achievable by that final minute. Veterans Park & Skate Park is just barely down Grand Avenue, and a quick jaunt down the 65 and East on Olive Avenue will take just past Sierra View Medical Center and Porterville High School right into quaint Downtown Porterville.

Cradled against the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Porterville is known as the Gateway to the Southern Sierra. Porterville offers access to an array of outdoor activities in Sequoia National Forest year-round, from swimming and hiking in warmer months to skiing and snowboarding in colder months. Porterville is also home to local parks such as Zalud Park and Veterans Park, which provide plenty of opportunities for outdoor recreation as well as the Tule River.

Main Street is also the site of many special events like the popular Iris Festival and the Veterans Day/Homecoming Parade.
