Nestled in the coastal city of Charleston, the Upper Peninsula is an up-and-coming community nestled along Cooper River. Although much of the Upper Peninsula is currently industrial, this neighborhood is booming with new residential communities. I highly recommend Foundry Point! The maintenance staff is communicative, trustworthy, thorough and thoughtful! In addition to answering my requests in a timely manner, they leave detailed notes and always bring in my packages from my doorstep as a courtesy! I’ve been here 3 years, and I can’t wait to renew my lease!

Location Location Location

I’ve been here about 8 months and really enjoy living here. The office staff is always super friendly and helpful and the maintenance staff absolutely cannot be beat. I’ve never seen anything like it in my years of apartment living! Very impressed! I’ve read the negative reviews from 2023 and have my own personal input: 1) parking is tough, yes. I do pay for garage parking but the price is very high and for some reason went up with my rent —def won’t stay if that continues to be a thing, but is tolerable for now to guarantee myself a spot everyday. Tough if you have people over because of the very limited open spots and how quickly they fill up but there is always parking available by Revelry in a pinch. 2) I’ve had zero problems with leaks , mold, roaches, etc. Maybe all that has been fixed. 3) I hear barely any noise from neighboring apartments. Once in a while I hear the person upstairs but if she got rugs, I bet that would go away ;) I’ve lived in several apartment complexes since I moved here and this is by far my favorite. Are there less expensive places available? Possibly, but the location is everything and I’m happy to pay for it. I can walk to soooooo many places and be anywhere downtown by car in mere minutes. Make Foundry your home, you won’t regret it!

Great place to live

Since moving into our apartment in early August, I have had no complaints whatsoever. Everything about the property is clean and kept in great shape. Maintenance orders are completed in a timely manner and always fix the problem/issue. Any pest control needs, they are on the premises every Monday to help. All the employees are so nice and reach out to ensure everything about the apartment is running smoothly. Safe area and a great place to live if you have a dog! Highly recommend living here to anyone who asks.

HORRIBLE STAY AWAY

I'm not sure how this complex has such a high rating on here. Below is list of 10 reasons to avoid this apartment community- 1. THEFT- there have been cars stolen, cars broken into and apartments broken into but management refuses to add more security cameras or hire a night attendant 2. parking- they tell you there's no issues with parking but good luck finding an open spot. They also tow if you arent in a "proper spot" 3. neighbor noise- you can hear conversations through the walls and ceilings not to mention music and footsteps 4. bugs- roach infested 5. no pool chairs and the ones they have are disgusting. 6. management- they will not follow up with you or fix any issues you have 7. mold and leaks- over the past two years they have done significant construction on every building and will board up your windows without warning or the option to help you move into a new unit 8. mosquitos- this property has a mosquito infestation but wont have anyone come out and spray, claiming its the cities responsibility 9. fee's- they charge a package fee for a service that loses your packages and offers no resolution. they charge a trash fee and half the time they dont pick up causing the hallways to stink and drawing bugs in. if you dont take your trash can inside by a certain time they'll hit you with another fee. 10. train noise- every night around 11pm and again around 2am the train comes through blowing its horn and the apartments are built so poorly it sounds like you're inside the train

DO NOT LIVE HERE

Save your money and sanity and DO NOT LIVE HERE. They call it luxury, but that’s a very far cry. Expect terrible management, your car to be towed (decal or not), black mold, broken entryways, flooding, and constant construction. Just look at all the empty apartments and that should tell you everything you need to know.

Horrible place to Live

Do not live here. I lived here for the past year. During which we moved into one of the rooms having ceiling damage with water that would drip through the ceiling every time it rained, this wasn’t fixed for at least a month in a half. To top this off they were performing rebricking work which we were notified would only be a week, to do this they covered all of our windows, however instead of this process taking a week it would be 3 months. We had no windows for 3 months. The construction crew they hired were utterly disrespectful and take up multiple parking spaces. They then decided to start towing vehicles from the lot without a firm plan for how to provide adequate parking for their residents . This place is awful, I highly suggest looking elsewhere.

No Parking

We pay too much to have the only overflow lot have restricted hours and to not park in a secured area considering the increase in crime in the area. As a female I feel very unsafe even walking from the overflow lot back to the apartments.

Not Happy!

Absolutely no parking. Dirty hallways which smell. Grounds are in bad shape with dog waste all around. I now have 2 leaks in apartment. I really did not want to post a negative review but, the leaks last night were my final straw. There are only enough parking spaces for 1 resident per unit- this is something that should have been resolved BEFORE opening in 2019. The hallways are never maintained- they are stained BADLY and no one seems to vacuum, clean... anything. I live near the "bark park," and there is dog waste everywhere and has been there for weeks. Now, I have water damage in a unit which I have been living in for less than 2 months and after talking to my neighbors this is an issue for ALL units which are on the top floor.

Amazing!

DISAPPOINTING

There is NO PARKING. EVER. There are dog "droppings," all over the property with no cleanup. The elevators are excruciatingly slow. The hallways are dirty, stained and stink thanks to both pets and trash. They really need to stop advertising this as a "luxury," community because it is far from it. Hoping our experience here turns around because this could be a nice property but, currently feels like a glorified college dorm.

Beautiful, Modern and Brand New!

Great location thats convenient to get all around town. The staff couldn't be any nicer and more accommodating. From leasing off to the property manager everybody is so great to work with! Super happy living here! Brand new apartments with awesome views and upscale amenities and modern windows.

This is the place to be if you want to live in a convenient, hip and beautiful location! Rachael and Jamie practically fall over themselves making every aspect of leasing and moving-in a virtual breeze. No question goes unanswered and always with a cheerful smile. Convenient to the Ravenel Bridge, local breweries, fabulous dining!

Amazing apartment downtown

I have just moved into Foundry Point and I love it! The leasing agents are always helpful and I have had no complaints thus far. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful place to live downtown!

Brand New Luxury Complex, Excellent Service!

We just moved into Foundry Point and couldn't be happier. It's a lovely community with great restaurants walking distance. Very dog friendly for our little pup and the amenities are top notch! Great part of town, easily accessible to downtown, Mt. Pleasant, North Charleston, West Ashley, and James Island. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. They are very caring and go out of their way to make you feel at home.

Perfect location

Moving to Charleston for work next year, checking out new properties around downtown and this is in an amazing location right beside the Ravenel bridge and the historic district! When I toured the staff was so happy to help me with all my questions about Charleston. All that plus amazing apartments, floor plans, and views!
