I applied for an available unit on the evening of Thursday October 14th, 2021. We visited the property in person Thursday evening around 4:30pm but were told that the office was done touring for the day and they couldn't help us. Not a warm welcome but we loved the look of the community so we decided to apply anyway. When submitting the application we were required to pay the application fee of $75 per person and the deposit of $500 totaling $650. We've never been required to pay the deposit before approval, and we've also never been denied a place but that's beside the point. We paid it and the funding was immediately pulled from our account. I called the rental office Friday to follow up and let them know we completed everything late in the evening the night prior and was informed that they are very strict on the 650 credit score requirement but if denied the deposit will be refunded. Still confident, I didn't give it a second thought and awaited approval. Well Monday, I was called and told that unfortunately we were denied due to credit score and the refund would be processed. Today is Wednesday October 27, 2021 and we have yet to receive our deposit. I have called every day for the past three days and am continuously told it was processed, you'll get it today, and the manager will give you a call. One day I was specifically told it was processed Friday (I assume that's last Friday Oct 21st) but they had a power outage in the office Tuesday which could have affected processing (which also doesn't make any sense). I have yet to hear from a manager and finally called today expressing my frustration that he cannot take 5 minutes out of his day to return my call from 3 days ago, completely unprofessional. I asked for contact information for the manager's supervisor and that information was unavailable. I confirmed Forest Properties was the managing company and stated I'll reach out myself. I then got a call back stating the refund was processed TODAY and sent to my husbands account. Well, my husband and I have a joint account and still I have not heard from the manager. All I'm asking for is clear communication on the return of my money.
Rent keeps going up management and buildings getting worse. Where do I start....... old appliances that keep breaking like the A/C, laundry and washer. They only have 2 maintanence workers so when something breaks it takes one to two weeks to fix. One time I was without A/C for a week and laundry for two weeks. Garbage disposal is always breaking so there is always trash piled up in the entrance and dog poop everywhere very unsanitary. Watch out because when they show you the model apartment but then give a you a crappy one with old appliances and mold in the wood. Paying the rent is nightmare not user friendly if you use MasterCard there is 40 dollars extra charge $100 late fee or you can pay with a money order!? The past month we have also witnessed the breaking of 3 cars but they still don't hire a nighttime security guard and all the comments and suggestions in community website are deleted by management So before you even come see these apartments and get convinced to live here RUN!
Going on two years living here, I love it. Being a single woman, I feel safe. Management is friendly and on top of maintenance requests. Great location and lots of beautiful trees. Plan on renewing lease.
I have been living here for four years and still love it as much as I did when I first moved in There are many trees and a beautiful lake with fountains. The staff is friendly and keep the complex well maintained. It is also a pet friendly community. I love the screened balcony and the large walk in closet. It is located in a great location. I feel safe living here. I looked at about five other properties and I just knew it felt like home when I came here. I am so happy that I chose this apartment.

I have been living here for exactly a month now and I fall more in love with my apartment, the staff, and the gorgeous area every single day!! It's very safe and quiet, and it's beautifully manicured. The staff have been very helpful in sorting out any minor issues that arose during move-in, and have gone above and beyond to stay in contact, making sure that my experience is stellar in every way. I love how unique the floor plans are- I visited many apartments searching for the right one, but this immediately stood out! It's incredibly spacious and comfortable. I am thrilled that I found this complex, because it is truly a gem!

Very nice apartment comple. Pet friendly with awesome customer service. Not the cheapest in the pompano beach area, however it is in a safe part of town and not far from the beaches.
