Located about 50 miles southeast of Pittsburgh, Uniontown was founded the same day as the United States Declaration of Independence was ratified. Known as America’s Road to Revolution, the National Road hosted the start of the French and Indian War, the Whiskey Rebellion, and where the Constitution faced its first challenge.
