Located about 50 miles southeast of Pittsburgh, Uniontown was founded the same day as the United States Declaration of Independence was ratified. The Historic National Road Corridor runs through Uniontown, leading to the sites of some of the nation’s most important political revolutions. Known as America’s Road to Revolution, the National Road hosted the start of the French and Indian War, the Whiskey Rebellion, and where the Constitution faced its first challenge.
