Quiet on the Westbank.

It is a quiet and well maintained place on the Westbank. I haven't had any problems getting problems fixed in my apartment or with Management. I am close to work and shopping is about 8 minutes away. Having an Amazon Hub on premise is also very helpful and reassuring.

Pleased..

I am a current resident here at Forest Isle. I have nothing, but positive reviews to write. I love the gated community, which is surrounded by beautiful greenery and well kept landscapes. I have yet to see any rodents or encounter any issues. I had to reach out to maintenence once with a minor issue and was met with a prompt response. My apartment is equipped with a washer/dryer which I love. The office is always friendly when I have questions or concerns (Shout to Dasha). This is a wonderful community to live in.... I am very well pleased.

We have proudly been residents of Forest Isle for 15 years, and it continues to be one of the best places we’ve ever lived. From day one, Forest Isle has stood out for its exceptional staff, safety, cleanliness, and genuine care for residents. The leasing office team — especially Ms. Carol and Ceecee — are warm, professional, and truly know their residents. They listen, communicate clearly, and consistently work toward real solutions. The maintenance team is outstanding: friendly, respectful, prompt, and incredibly skilled. Whether it’s routine upkeep or emergency service, we’ve always felt safe, supported, and never left stranded. The property is beautifully landscaped, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed — from the levee paths and patios to parking improvements and clean common areas. Forest Isle excels in community safety and communication, providing emergency alerts, reliable security, and upgraded gate access. Amenities like the resort-style pool, clean gym, Amazon Hub, dog park, and pet stations add real quality of life. Small touches — newsletters, holiday events, food days, and resident perks — show how much management values its community. We also deeply appreciate Forest Isle’s affordability, rent stability, referral bonuses, raffles, and resident-first mindset, especially during challenging times. I Enjoy Living Here!

Forest Isle Apartments has been a great place to live and call home—in fact, I have lived here twice! Once in 2020 and again in 2025. In my experience, management has been kind and helpful, and maintenance has been responsive and thorough. I have loved both of my apartments, from layouts, to the colors of the buildings, the beautiful plants and flowers, access to the levee, and the pool and splash pad. I also appreciate the sense of community here. My daughter and I have gotten to know many of the groundskeepers and staff by name and my 3 year old daughter loves saying hello to everyone. While I understand everyone has different needs and expectations while considering places to live, Forest Isle Apartments has checked all of my boxes.

The nicest place to live on the West Bank

I've lived here for 7+ years and I still love it. It's in a private, secure location, but very close to shopping and the city. The staff is very helpful and kind. It's pet-friendly...even for bigger dogs (which is why I moved here in the first place). The landscape is beautiful and well taken care of. It's quiet and safe.There's a pool and a small gym which are both quite nice. Highly recommended.

Its a well maintained complex, grass is consistently groomed, when in need of maintenance response time is positive. Trash is removed daily from grounds and common area. Overall a really nice place to reside!

Service is top tier ??

I never have to question about needing any type of repairs or maintenance done. As soon as I put my request in, I can guarantee someone will be on site within 24hrs. I never hear a complaint and they come with a smile . Much needed here.

It’s good on my end.

I currently live in a studio apartment at Forest Isles, and overall my experience has been very smooth. I enjoy the sense of privacy and the respectful atmosphere among neighbors we’re friendly without being intrusive. Simple greetings like a “good morning” go a long way, and it creates a pleasant living environment. My apartment was in great condition when I moved in, and I haven’t experienced any pest issues throughout the year. One of the standout positives is the maintenance team. Whenever I submit a maintenance request, they usually respond by the next day or provide clear updates if a technician needs additional time. I really appreciate their communication through emails, text messages, and even notes left on the door to notify residents ahead of time before entering apartments. That level of consideration makes a big difference. I also value the security at Forest Isles it feels safe knowing that not just anyone can come in. Overall, I’ve had a very positive experience living here and genuinely enjoy calling Forest Isles home.

It's been better than I thought it would have

So far since living back here any time I may have had a problem. It either got solved the next day or the day of the issue and always cleaning keeping the property up. It's been pretty nice back here.

Nice Community

Very nice community, they have security guard at the gate 24 hours which is a bonus for making the complex feel safe. The maintenance and front office team work well with you with making sure needs are met .

Affordable rent, decent space

I chose this place bc the rent was lower than most other comparable apartments and I wanted a short commute to the Navy base. I have lived here 2 years and plan to stay another 2 years. Pros- Cheap, gated, maintenance staff is pretty responsive, newer kitchen appliances, annual carpet cleanings are free. You can get a room without washer and dryer and save quite a bit of money if you don’t have a family. I just walk over to the on site laundry facility. They use an Amazon delivery locker which is great for convenience and security. They offer a 10% military discount so there are several service members here. Despite it not being in a great area, I haven’t observed much crime. Most everyone keeps to themselves. Cons- the rooms are very energy inefficient so your heating/cooling bill suffers in extreme temps, the lack of insulation also means you hear your louder neighbors. The interior paint job is about as thick and smooth as stucco. Everything is cheap- fixtures, carpet, doors, appliances, so you’re not impressing any guests. The trees over the parking lot drop sap and pine needles year round so I park farther away to avoid that. Most of the listed amenities are bare bones/useless. The gym and pool are trash, the car wash station is a broken hose, etc. If it’s important to you, ask to see it before signing a lease

Come Check Out !

Forest Isle is a great place to stay. I am currently living here with my cousin/roommate, and our experience has been excellent. The apartment is very spacious and includes two patios and a balcony. The community is quiet, with friendly neighbors. The maintenance team responds quickly to any issues, and the office staff is outstanding. Overall, it has been a great place to live.

Safe, Well-Maintained, and a Pleasure to Live Here

I love living at Forest Isle. The maintenance team is quick, reliable, and does a great job. The office staff is friendly, helpful, and always open to suggestions about renovations and repairs. The security officers are professional and make the gated community feel safe and secure. The pool, gym, and parcel room are great amenities and well maintained. Just like the property in the pictures, the employees seem much nicer before you actually get there.

Not too good

I got denied for an application without letting the reason why wast it. They also stated that they were gonna contact me back no email nor phone call was ever made. Need to be more informative when it comes to something critical like potentially new renters.

Kicked out without Reasoning

We lived there for a year and a half no problems and now we have a notice without reasoning as to why we must vacate the area. Rent was always payed on time, we didn't cause any trouble especially since it was our first time renting. Mold growing in the bathroom. Leak from the a/c unit. Bathroom space is non existent.

The worst

This is probably the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. It is absolutely horrible. They think slapping on some coats of disgusting vomit colored paint will fix it. I have lived here since the summer of 2016 and regret every day of it. The sliding door used to flood inside every time it rained. They used bathroom caulking to fix it on the outside. But the inside is covered in mold and the wall bulges out more every time it e=rains from the walls being soaked. The ceiling in the bathroom leaks onto the counter on occasion because there is some kind of leaking going on in the air conditioning unit. They say they "flush" it out, but I think it goes into the neighbor's unit, then comes back into mine. I have constant issues with people smoking marijuana. it comes into my apartment via the ac vents. I've been told they "want our money", and would not even let me switch to a new, drug-free unit. The washing machine broke and flooded the entire living room and kitchen. The sink faucet broke and flooded that kitchen. There are numerous people who never pick up after their dogs. In the summer it smells like a poop sauna every time you go outside. They seem to have little control over tenants actions, as the same person who has been seen and reported on numerous occasion continues let their dog poop anywhere and will not clean it up on a daily basis. But then again, they just want our money. They staff acts as if they are entitled and you are bothering them when you call for help or put in a service request. Hardly any storage space. cheap flooring. The cabinets and countertops look like they were installed by someone who was drunk. Mine looks like someone dropped it, said oh well, then used shoe goo to slap it together before heading out. Plus it leans backwards and water pools there when the sink is turned on. The landscaping is a joke. I have no idea what look they are going for, but if there is a theme, it is lost on me.

Not the best but also not the worst

the pictures are false. this place does not look anything like it. the people appear friendly but are not as helpful as they make it seem. been living here for 2.5 yrs and have ran into more problems than I thought possible. it floods very badly on the main road. the pipes back up so often that I had to keep the facilities maintenance on speed dial. the good thing about this place is that there is a pool. and the military/police population is enough that the riffraff isnt as engaging as other areas

Decent place, but....

This place is ok, Not really the best. The place seems to just be a renovated old apartment that they just put a bunch of low cost stuff in to make it seem more updated and that way they can ask for more rent.

IT WAS READY ON TIME FOR US AND CLEAN. HOWEVER AFTER LIVING HERE A MONTH THERE IS A LEAK IN THE DINING ROOM CEILING AND LOOKS LIKE IT HAS GAPPENED BEFORE. ALSO LOOKS LIKE SOME MOLD MIGHT BE THERE. SOME MUSHROOM LOOKING THINGS COMING OUT OF THE CEILING. THE WORKER SHOWED UP ABOUT A HALF HOUR AFTER I CALLED SO THAT IS GOOD. THEY SHOULD HAVE TOLD US THAT IT HAD HAPPENED BEFORE WE SIGND A LEASE.

worst place and staff I've ever delt with

This is the worst place I have ever been. The staff is rude and lazy they know nothing about customer service. When we first moved our family got really sick due to all the mold. Once talking to many neighbors they have the same problem. The maintenance only paints over it. Second our house flooded and we spoke to the staff and maintence team on when could we expect someone to come out so that we can take time off of work. No one could help us. The front office said we should find out who the contractor is and call them ourselves to find out when they would be coming. It's been 5 days out house is in ruin. Do not move here

Great community

The complex is very nice. All the staff is very friendly and will help you whenever you need it. The units are spacious and have been kept up nicely. I had a maintenance request and it was answered promptly. Very quiet during the day and night. There is also an adequate amount of parking. The swimming pool, exercise, and mailroom areas are nice and clean. Also, it is very well lit at night and there isn't a lot of traffic through the complex because of the gated entry. I love the fact they will accept packages for you if you aren't home to receive it. Overall, it's nice, safe, and affordable.

If you love the Tropics, you will love this apartment.

When I first drove into the apartment complex, I was taken back to the Bahamas and South Florida. I love my apartment, the colorful buildings, the water and dog parks, the friendly staff. I love our monthly newsletters keeping us updated on any changes. Its one of the best places to live.

Forest Isle Apartments

Forest Isle Apartments has great apartments but focuses too much on pets which I believe should not be a core focus. Also there should be more restrictions on dogs in particular.the maintenance is superb in resolving issues quickly.

Great Community!

My husband and I moved in November of 2014 and so far we love Forest Isle! They keep it very clean, always mowing the lawn one a week and the pool is cleaned everyday. They are very pet friendly with a dog park! And everyone does their part by picking up after their pets. I'm positive that we will continue to renew our contract in the future. I would recommend this community to anyone regardless of being single or having a family. There are many options available.

Nice, affordable apartments

I just moved into Forest Isle this July and I have had a good experience so far. My apartment was clean and the leading office staff has been extremely helpful with my move. The gated entry with ID cards makes me feel safer. Also, the pool and fitness center areas are well kept.
