Forest Cove Apartments

Forest Cove is a very nice place to live. Ideally located near shopping and dining, with access to main roads, bus routes and commuter transportation. The complex is designed with many walking paths, ponds and wooded areas. There are many amenities for residents and the complex is pet friendly.

I love Forest Cove. This has been my home since I moved to Illinois since 2018 as a climate refugee. The way management, my neighbors and the environment have "cuddled" me and my kids has contributed to our healing and ability to thrive. I am very grateful to live where we live and in the apartment where we live.

It's a convenient location to reside at, I personally love the floor plan, have been experiencing very loud neighbors lately. I like living hear, it's just the noise level is very irritating.

I have lived at Forest Cove for over 20 years. The area is quiet and amenable to solitary and/or family living and the grounds are ideal for taking walks and enjoying the outdoors in. The amenities are good, and the staff is friendly, and the complex is conveniently located near, parks, restaurants, shopping centers and major roadways.

Maintenance is lacking. A tree branch fell over the summer and it took 3 weeks for the huge branch to be cleared from in-front of my bedroom first floor window. The gutter that this branch took out is still sitting there months later. Doesn’t show you care about your property or your tenants safety. It’s also an eye sore.

In spite of my complaints I do recommend to people to rent there.

Most comfortable place to live for many miles. Animal friendly, great community. Super friendly and awesome staff! Great location. But the parking lot looks like a very bad dice roll in Jumanji.

Quite quiet, beautifully decorated place. The presence of an artificial lake adds beauty and color to this place. The layout of the house is very good - there are no neighbors behind "every wall". The apartment is well lit during the day. And all this for a very reasonable price.

Beautiful grounds, upgraded kitchen, new carpet, gorgeous pool, nice workout room, clubhouse and lots of fun activities! Very reasonable rent!

Quality apartments with a great management and maintenance team. The complex is very clean and kept to a standard. Conveniently located and very low crime.

Combine a dog-friendly, nostalgic, 1990s Disney World resort. With a "lived in" fixer upper feel. And bang, you got Forest Cove.

I love my apartment! Its been updated, great appliances and pretty cherry cabinets, new carpet. Love the pool in the summer. Grounds are gorgeous with lots of trees and flowers!

The quietness of the place,the friendly neighboorhood and most especially the staff members especially Sir Mario,who is so professional in his most friendly manner,would always greats you with a smile and so helpful too!Amazing

I've been living at Forest Cove for over 5 years and I love this place. It's been a retreat and a safe haven while getting up on my feet. When issues arise, management has always been prompt to address. My only wish would be that they had 3-bedroom apartments we could continue to grow into.

Forest Cove is an upscale complex with scenic landscaped grounds and a quiet conveniently located living experience.

The property is well kept and the location is good

'll start by saying the natural ambiance, waterscapes, wooden bridges, and being PET FRIENDLY including a dog park were the main reasons why I chose this place and having to work from home sometimes I love to have such exterior view, so this place and its price worked great for me. Management (Liz) and team (Jennifer and Mar) are all great, they're considerate, respectful and professional, they continue to be very supportive to the community, love the new monthly newsletters where we get updated on news, love the events they continue to do (food buffets and giveaways), nice job! I like the resident portal which is very helpful to submit maintenance requests online where I describe the issue and provide photos to help explain without having to visit the office, one of which was for an AC replacement which they did on the same day, I was very happy with that, maintenance continue to do a good job with the place. Improvements continue to develop over time, one of the biggest improvements/decisions made this year was making this place Eco-friendly with No Smoking policy, that was a major concern when I first moved in last year, smoke and marijuana coming in from the bathroom vents and corridor which impacted me being and my dog especially that her nose is 100,000 times more sensitive than mine, this brings me to talk about the neighbors and community in general. I agree with some reviews that we do have "inconsiderate neighbors" who don't comply with contract, office rules and guidelines, bikes not in right place, smoking continues!, speeding while we're told max speed is 20, balconies with furniture while we’re advised not to have due to fire hazards, people not cleaning after their dogs while bags were made available for free!, given that office notified us through emails and noticeboards on all these concerns, and recently the towing notice delivered in advance, I believe office is being "patient as possible" with the neighbors, I hope community would be more mindful and respectful to notices and other neighbors, better to read and understand the contract and clauses to avoid issues with office.

Forest Cove is a beautiful community to reside in. The units are slacious and modern, the complex area is great for walking in and around and is conveniently located near businesses, shopping and dining locations.

Great place to live, but needs more security and better background check.

Forest Cove is the first apartment we have ever lived in. We love it so much so far and would love to extend our lease!

I do like maintenance here - everything is done fast, no wait time at all.

The best option around Elk Grove Village and the surrounding suburbs. The community is ran by people who care about their tenants, and they show it.

I fell in love with the place from first sight visit, loved the natural ambience, the pool, the ducks and birds, I'm a nature person so all works for me, and the community is pretty friendly and peaceful, most importantly office management and the wonderful personnel, everything works great to my criteria. It's a great experience living here and I'm loving it. Thank you making it a great experience!

the forest cove apartments are great, I feel very satisfied to live there, very clean by the way, the service provided is very good

I lived here from August 2020 to July 2021. Almost always quiet and it almost feels like you are not even in a major metro area-surrounded by trees and there is a pond on the property-yet close to everything you need. The 1BRs are quite spacious, especially the bedroom, and the updates are a good touch, I especially liked the cherry cabinets in the kitchen and the bathroom. Plenty of closet space for the bedroom. Perhaps the only complaint I have is my upstairs neighbor always seemed to be stomping on the floor to the point where the ceiling vibrated, it was irritating at times. I filed a complaint once but that did not seem to change much. The only reason I did not renew my lease was they increased the price $250/month.

You can hear the pipes heating up and the walls make noise plus they look cracked on corners

I love living at Forest Cove. Hopefully some day they will add 3 bedroom apartments and I will be able to stay for as long as my kids are in school.

The walk on the lodge is very beautiful/ peaceful as well as the nature and the feel of the forest out here very peaceful

I love how peaceful and serene it is around my apartment. The view from my patio is very nice to say the least. My guests are very impressed by the scenery. And the location for me is awesome!

I have enjoyed my time with Forest Cove. The atmosphere is breathtaking. The staff is always friendly and able to reply to emails and answer questions. Maintenance comes when he is available and is super kind/helpful Its been a great experience so far!

Forest Cove is clean and safe with a professional management staff on hand. I would recommend this apartment living to anyone.

I started living here out of necessity, but when the time came to choose a place to live, this was still my place. I love the lodge feel, the apartments are decent and I love that we have everything so accessible I don't have the need for a car. I've also had excellent experience with management.

In my overall experience here at Forest Cove I feel valued due to the fast response I received when my air conditioning went out, they were here then next morning with a new one. Ive called regarding the washer not working and they fixed it within 24 hrs. My neighbors are very friendly and a pleasure to have near me.

I love the community overall, indoor and outdoor design is aesthetic and quite pleasing. Staff is supportive and approachable.

Its a wonderful community, and the amenities are excellent, but the communication and lack of responses from the management offices is beyond sub-par.

A little slice of heaven right off of 83/Busse! The staff, beauty of the place and overall peaceful vibe is bar none! I think my parents want to come live here after they sell their house!

It's like a little slice of paradise hidden on 83/Busse. I felt like I opened a magic door to another plane when I walked to the leasing office. Everything is so beautiful and well managed. Betty is phenomenal and my entire experience so far has been nothing but pure joy!
