Expect to lose part of your security deposit. This is the only place of 5 apartments that has billed my security deposit for cleaning. I spent 6 hours taking care of the unit after moving out. They will mail you a cleaning list that is PAGES long, and not reflective of what's agreed in the lease agreement. The will also bill you for turnover costs and 'Standard carpet cleaning fees' not including in the lease agreement. Can you take them to small claims? Sure, but do you have PTO? Are you willing to drive back to the area and actually file over 400 dollars? They are banking on that you wont. Seeing as they've dropped rent almost 200 dollars a unit, it seems like people are realizing they aren't the spot to go to. Don't live here.

I've lived here for 5 months so far and I've loved it. Pros: - Private pool and gym - Cafe next door - Beautiful pond and horizon views - Spacious apartments - Updated appliances - Washer/Dryer in unit and dishwasher - Reliable electricity/water, efficient heating/cooling - Plenty of parking - Safe area, 5 minutes from town Cons: - Can hear neighbor's dogs often - Chalky matte paint on the walls that scuffs easily - Carpet everywhere except kitchen/bathrooms (personal preference) - Master bedroom door covers master bath (weird layout) - Garbage truck comes multiple times a week and is very loud Overall, my gripes are very minor and I would highly recommend this apartment to those looking to live in Mount Joy!

Don’t live here, It’s awful. One Neighbor and HOA have made our household life so unbearable we’ve decided to move after a year. No parking. This community is Letter happy, ticket happy, and miserable. Belligerence abound.

Lived here for 2 1/2 Years. The apartments are huge, well layed out with a washer and dryer. I had the upper level so the stairs (the go straight up) are a bit daunting but not horrible, just a pain to vacuum. Maintance here is top notch. Rarely had a problem but when we did it was taken care of quickly. They do regular routine maintence too, like changing out the furnace filters. The apartments are all electric, wish the furnace was gas but the bills were manageable. There is plenty of parking for guests, at least where I was in the complex. With your unit you will have a garage plus a carport. The garage was great to have either for a car or extra storage. Neighbors were quiet, lots of people have dogs (never heard them either). I’d say it’s a great place to live. Wish they had more bars / restaurants within walking distance but maybe that will come as they have vacant retail spaces available. If Florin Hill is in your budget, I highly recommend. Wish I could move this apt to Virginia where I’m paying more for a lot less (1bd/1b no garage).

I recently moved into an apartment at Florin Hill and am so pleased with my decision. The staff here are very friendly and helpful, and immediately welcome you into the community. The apartment design allows you to arrange furniture to your liking and the tall windows allow for plenty of natural light. I love my balcony view where there is enough space for my chairs and a small table. Having access to a garage and car port is extremely convenient, especially for the upcoming cold weather. I am loving my apartment! :)

I recently moved here from sleepy hollow ny. I can't say enough about how pleased I Am about my community and apartment at florin hill. The staff and amenities are excellent. The apartment is modern and spacious and the value for my money is tremendous. I could never afford what I have now compared to new york.The community is serene and peaceful and the neighbors friendly. I am so happy that I made the move to this wonderful apartment and community at florin hill.

My husband and I have been living at Florin Hill for a little more than a year, and have not had a single issue or problem so far! If there is any problem with our apartment, we can call someone with maintenance and they will make an appointment to come and help us out. We love how quiet it is, too! Even though there are a few familes who live around us with small children, we never hear any craziness. The whole area of Florin Hills is so clean and well taken care of; we have never seen any garbage or nastiness on the sidewalks,in the ponds, or on the grass. The pool is probably our favorite part, though. It's only a minute walk away from our apartment building. Even if it's a little more expensive, you're paying for a great quality apartment experience. I recommend living here for sure! TL;DR Pros: clean, quiet, well maintained, awesome amenities (including a gym and pool), and wonderful managers Cons: kind of expensive

Beautiful surroundings, with ponds, walking trails, and a well kept pool. Management gets the residents involved with each other by having many varied activities, including a polar plunge and pizza parties. The surroundings are both country and small town, lots of trees, nice landscaping. Couldn't ask for a better place to call home!

We LOVE living at Florin Hills. My husband and I work on the opposite ends of town so moving to Mount Joy seemed to be a middle ground for us. Driving through Mt Joy we found Florin Hill Apartments; they immediately caught our eyes as a lively, sharp, cute little area. The apartments are perfect for young adults, new families, and even older generations! The apartments are clean, comfortable and even quiet. Each apartment comes with a minimum of two spacious bedrooms, a large living/kitchen area for entertaining or snuggling up for movie time & even washer and dryer included! Their community space includes an always clean workout/gym area, a heated pool perfect for relaxing or splashing with the kids, a small play area for kids of all ages and even two fully stocked ponds for fishing! We stopped in and talked to Kathleen and she was able to show us a variety of floor plans that fit our budget. She was able to accommodate our needs as a newly married couple even when our timing fell through and we had to put the move on hold. Both times, a new apartment that fit our style opened she gave us a call and accommodated our crazy schedules to come out and view it (even to this day they accommodate our maintenance schedules as my husband works 3rd shift they are able to work around that and still take care of us!) Anytime we need something, if we shoot her an email or even stop by to talk to her or Diana we always leave there feeling like they genuinely care for us as patrons. Recently, we even saw the Manager, Kathleen, at a leadership conference we recently attended; it was so cool to see that she cared enough that was there to help better her establishment! Thanks for all you guys do to make it such a great place to live!

Recently moved to the neighborhood and have been pleased so far. The buildings are new and clean. It is very nice to have private entrance as well as garage and carport. Safe family environment, there are many younger couples with small children. The pool is functional but a bit small for the size of the community. Gym is small but sufficient, especially since it is open 24 hrs. Our appliances run well, although the dishwasher is a bit noisy, it does the job. We have a balcony which I wish was a bit bigger (2nd floor apartments have a bigger balcony than 3rd). The maintenance staff is attentive and friendly. I have had nothing but positive interactions with staff and residents alike. A good place to live with easy commute to Lancaster or Harrisburg for people of all ages.

As a first time renter, I have been completely impressed with Florin Hill apartments! There was so much I didn't know about renting and the staff at Florin Hill has been extremely friendly, knowledgeable, patient and professional when answering all of my questions! The apartments and surrounding grounds are very well maintained. There is a great community atmosphere at Florin Hill and I feel completely safe in this quiet, pet friendly apartment complex. The pool is heated (for opening late spring!), very clean and has a large surrounding deck with plenty of lounge chairs and tables. There is also a nice playground area for young children, fire pit area, well equipped fitness center open 24/7, large well furnished community room and plenty of scenic walking paths! Florin Hill is conveniently located, being approximately 20-25 minutes from Hershey, Lancaster, York and only an hour and 15 minutes from Baltimore.

Seeing available apts was very easy, when we saw the apt we wanted everything about the rental process was explained in a very professional manner. The day we signed the lease all was in order and went very easy. The day we moved in the maintenance person walked us through the entire apt explaining how everything worked what our responsibilities are and theirs. Also how to get hold of them for routine work and in an emergency. The apt was fully painted and new carpets in every room. Pool and workout facilities are included in the rental charge. Both of which are very nice.

Tucked in the western end of Mount Joy, The Apartments at Florin Hill offers a slice of country living with an urban feel. The density of the apartment complex offers the tenant a close walk to many amenities such as the facility swimming pool and gym, park, ponds, local pub, restaurant. Additional services within walking distance are a grocery store, pharmacy, dollar store, pizza shop, and beer distributor. The apartments themselves are new, modern, and clean. The maintenance staff as well as office personnel are responsive to the tenant's needs and timely in answering questions/concerns. To a large extent, many of the tenants that call Florin Hill home are working professionals who take advantage of the quiet lifestyle Florin Hill offers. Sprinkled around the apartment complex is a mix of single family and townhomes, all of which provide a wide cross section of families and individuals to interact with. The Apartments at Florin Hill are a great place to call "home", whether it be short or long term.

Florin Hill is a very beautiful apartment complex! I love that it has a pool and a gym! The apartments are all spacious 2 bedroom/2 bathrooms and they have a nice layout with their own washer/dryer included. I have enjoyed my 2 years here very much!

Florin Hills has a very safe and elegant apartment complex. They offer a variety of floor plans and prices that will fit anyone's preference and budget. The apartments and buildings are very well kept and are built with quality materials that allow you to feel like home. I thoroughly enjoy the amount of sunlight that the floor plans receive, and they even have bass ponds for fishing! I would highly recommend Florin Hills to anyone who is looking for a safe, quiet, and well kept community.

With two bedrooms and two full bathrooms we have more than enough room while staying within our budget!! The sun rises in our bedroom and we get amazing afternoon/evening sunlight in our living room. We have quick and easy access to both Harrisburg and Lancaster and only minutes from the Amtrak station with direct lines to Philadelphia and New York City. The apartments and community spaces are extremely well maintained -- I even had my bridal shower in our community room! I was so impressed with the 24/hour gym that I cancelled my outside gym membership. Our complex serves a wide variety of folks from young couples just starting out, to families with multiple children, and even elderly retirees. With all that Florin Hill has to offer my husband and I will certainly be staying put for a long time.

This property is perfect if you're looking for a quiet place to live, necessities close by, and easy access to Lancaster. Management is responsive and very polite. The property and its amenities (pool, gym, etc.) are well kept and clean. Can't beat the size and quality of the apartments on this property for the price.

The Apartments at Florin Hill are located in the small town of Mount Joy, Pennsylvania. The apartments are designed to have a modern feel to them and are furnished with a full size washer and dryer saving you any trips and money to a laundromat to wash your clothing. When I first moved into these apartments three years ago my biggest concern was whether I would be disturbed by my neighbors and noise. I have not had any problems in those same three years with any noise as it is very quiet living here. The Apartments at Florin Hill are a great place to live whether you are single, married, raising a family or looking for a place to enjoy your retirement. There are many amenities at Florin Hill including a heated pool, a 24-hour gym, a playground, two ponds to fish in and a community room/lounge with fresh baked cookies and coffee free to residents. The apartments are also home to numerous businesses including a chiropractor's office, a salon and a bakery. In addition to the luxury that these apartments offer, they are also conveniently located to major cities including Harrisburg, Lancaster, York, Baltimore and Philadelphia (which are all located within an hour and a half of driving distance). Included in your rent is water, sewage, and garbage. Most importantly, in the winter, you won't have to worry about shoveling any snow as the maintenance crew takes care of this for residents. The apartments are very safe and secure with indoor entrances to the apartments and 24/7 emergency service. The atmosphere around Florin Hill is gorgeous. The landscaping is maintained weekly throughout the year and the surrounding fields, ponds and gorgeous sunsets from your patio or balcony make you feel like you really are at home in your apartment here at Florin Hill.

The apartments at Florin Hill were exactly what I was looking for. I recently moved to Mount Joy, PA from Boston, MA and the apartment my boyfriend found for the two of us was perfect. Not only is it affordable, but the property is very well maintained and quiet. The other residents that we have spoken to also have been very happy with their experience as well and everyone has been super welcoming and nice! Not only is our apartment spacious and clean, but we also have access to a 24 hour gym on location, as well as a pool. The apartment also overlooks a small pond on the property which is a cute little view from our bedroom. I have lived in various apartments over the years, and this one by far has been the best experience so far. What is also really inviting is that living here at Florin Hill, we have the option to purchase property here after our year lease has expired. The houses that I've seen while walking around the property are super cute and would be something I would consider! The location is right off the main street of the town and is easily accessible to the highway where I can go to either Harrisburg or Lancaster within a half an hour. There are also two town restaurants within walking distance, and the downtown area is just a few blocks away. Honestly, the move from Massachusetts to Pennsylvania was a daunting thing to begin with, but working with the property managers, they made our move so easy and they were extremely helpful during the entire process. I couldn't be happier living anywhere else.

Coming home is incredibly relaxing. The community is amazingly inviting and features amenities including a clean, family friendly swimming pool, a gym equipped with cardio machines, lifting systems, and free weights, and a beautiful community room. Each apartment welcomes you home to a spacious floor plan and provides an amazing escape after a long day's work. This truly is a place you can call home.

My boyfriend and I recently moved into The Apartments at Florin Hill in Mount Joy, Pennsylvannia. From the moment we stepped onto the facilities we were blown away. After touring multiple apartments we selected the layout that best suited our needs. The next month we moved in! Our apartment was in perfect condition upon move-in. Since then we have enjoyed all the amenities offered, including an outdoor swimming pool, gym with cardio and weight lifting equipment, and two catch-and-release fishing ponds. All of the staff here have ben extremely helpful and welcoming. The Apartments at Florin Hill are centrally located between Hershey, Harrisburg, York, and Lancaster. We would recommend the Florin Hill community to anyone looking for a family-oriented, beautiful place to live!

As a retired down sizer, this is an ideal alternative life style. With a heated pool among the numerous amenities and an excellent management staff (including superb maintenance response), we have lived here five years and have no plans to move. Priced in the $1000. range, the alternative apartment options and locations are perfect. Young apartment seekers as well as baby boomers should check them out!

We have lived here for 5 years, and have been happy since the day we moved in. The apartment is quiet, little to no noise heard from neighbors. The pool is open longer than normal and is large enough to get exercise but small enough to feel comfortable. The exercise, which has 24 hr secure access has enough equipment to have challenging work outs. The maintenance department responds quickly to any problems, although I haven't had many problems. The staff has always been helpful from offering access to the internet to coffee & tea in the community room. Also they have parties twice a year to get residents together with the Florin Hill Family.

We've been a part of the Florin Hill community since January 2015. When we first moved in they were adding a new business below our building so there was some noise early in the morning (we both work in the restaurant industry with late hours), but it has since been completed and we've really enjoyed living here. It's a peaceful neighborhood with a mix of young and old alike, and lots of families. It's conveniently located in between Mount Joy and Elizabethtown, making grocery shopping and other errands a quick trip. Our apartment itself is spacious and the tall windows provide sunlight throughout the day. Our kitchen is the perfect size for two people who love to bake and cook, with plenty of cabinet and counter space. The staff is wonderful, as well, keeping everyone updated on upcoming maintenance and events. We would recommend living here to our friends and family!

The Apartments at Florin Hill are more than just a group of apartment buildings. They are a community. From the first day I contacted the staff at Florin Hill, I felt welcomed. They were flexible and willing to work with me since I was moving from out of state. They made me feel at home immediately. I absolutely love the apartment that I am living in and allowing pets puts the icing on top. I am still in the process of meeting my neighbors, but everyone that I have met so far have also been welcoming. The neighborhood just gives off a warm and homey vibe. The layout of housing in the community is awesome. Single family homes, town houses, and apartments all in one area with unique styles makes the area feel more like a resort down the shore. The community and fitness centers are well kept and up with the times. There's a HEATED pool, a fire pit, and the most adorable playground complete with a built-in sandpit. Honestly, there are not enough good things I can say about this area to truly sum up my experience thus far.

This apartment feels like a home my family could live in for years. The garage is great! The amenities are top notch and always kept clean! Great people that work here and neighbors are all very nice. Since living here we have had one time we needed to call maintenance and they were here and fixed the issue within an hour....ON A SATURDAY NIGHT! All in all a perfect community!

Our place is perfect in about ever way. The neighbors are nice which is always a good thing. It's newly built and very clean. I wouldnt want to live anywhere else for my first apartment.

This is the first time living in an apartment after moving out of a home and neighborhood I lived in for 10 years. I've been here 3 months and the neighborhood is great and friendly. The apartment is beautiful with custom interior colors that make it feel like home. The maintenance is great and the leasing agents are always available, helpful and friendly. The pool and fitness room are great and well maintained. Carefree living at its best!

My boyfriend and I have lived at Florin Hill for a few months now and could not be happier. The rent is affordable, the community is safe and friendly and not to mention the apartment itself is beautiful. We live in a two bedroom but all the apartments are newly renovated and I can not say enough about the maintenance crew! One Saturday evening our water heater was stopped working and within the hour someone came over had the problem fixed and cleaned my floor before leaving! Just in the begining they allowed us to move in 4 days before the first of the month, at no extra charge, because it fit our situation better! I would highly suggest any apartment in Florin Hills!

My husband and I were Philadelphia transplants that moved to Mount Joy Pennsylvania due to our careers. Uprooting your lifestyle is never easy, so picking a place that we can call home was very important to us. My husband and I visited several apartments in the Mount Joy area, however, you cannot even compare to the Apartments at Florin Hill. The buildings in itself are so classy and modern looking. The insides of the apartments are extremely classy and clean as well. Our move was supposed to be temporary, however, after being here for almost three years, we absolutely love it! Florin hill provides you with the level of distinct relaxation that you deserve and the community provides you with the utmost comfort imaginable. The luxury style apartment and amenities really makes us feel like we get a steal for our money. Sometimes to good to be true to say the least. The Apartments at Florin Hill really has something for everyone. If you are more of the outdoors type, you can relax at the heated pool or the beautiful fire pit with friends. There is a well- maintained playground for your family and a pound you can even fish at. If you prefer the indoors, you have a private sundeck that is great for a breakfast or simply reading a book. There is a comfy lounge where the staff always has coffee or tea where you can relax and even get some work done. The gym will definitely get your heart pumping with a work out with up to date and clean equipment. The events that the staff puts on are awesome; really allowing you to build friendships making it feel more like a community. We have made several close friends here that we consider lifetime friends. Everyone is so nice and always makes you feel welcomed. The management here really makes you feel at home. They work very hard to maintain the property’s upkeep and are super helpful. During the summer, the grass is always cut and the landscaping is beautiful. During the winter time, the driveways and sidewalks are kept as clear as could be expected, making the trek from work to home safe as could be. The pool and amenities are always clean, and often see the maintenance staff working after hours to fulfill the maintenance request. They always check in the next day to make sure everything is fixed and always make sure we are happy with the repair. The staff is very helpful and always keeps everyone updated on events that are going on. There are several times we see the staff If you are looking for a place to start

From the minute you enter Florin Hill Apartments you will know this place is special. The beautiful scenery around the complex to the wonderful staff in the leasing office will make you feel at home quickly. With so many floor plans to choose from there is surely something for everyone! The nice thing about these apartments is that they are maintained very well and look like new when you move in. New paint, new carpet is applied after each resident as well as the air filters changed out monthly. The gym and pool are within walking distance to my apartment and are at no additional cost! I wouldn't change anything about these apartments they are very roomy and comfortable! I recommend anyone to give Florin Hill a try!

Mount Joy's Florin Hills apartments are well cared for and quiet. Pleasant atmosphere and great amenities...pool and gym included! Nice views and walkable private neighborhood that is always plowed, salted and shoveled quickly. Especially love that my 2 bdr apartment has a garage and carport combo. Sunny and bright, w/d, 2 bathrooms, easy to care for, easy access to Amtrak and airports too! It really covers all the bases for easy and convenient living, and the private home/apartment landscaping looks and feels more like a nice upscale neighborhood rather than an apartment complex!

Life at Florin Hills apartments has been so nice this pass year. The area is always kept clean and beautiful. The staff at Florin Hills are excellent caring people, always there to answer questions or repair any problems which may arise. Living here is very comfortable and have great neighbors. Our apartment has plenty room and windows to enjoy the outside. Thank you Florin Hills for making our retirement easy.

I was starting my life over again when I meet my fiancé , we fell in love and wanted to live together. We wanted different things on what we expected, I wanted a pool and he wanted to not have the stress of 1,000 bills due to working and being in school. The Apartments at florin hill had given us a chance to do all that we wanted, We love have everything included in our rent but the elec bill, makes it easier for people with a busy life, I got my pool, and as a bonus he got a pond to go fishing in and not worrying about driving to go fishing he can just take a short walk and relax and fish. and best of all the landlord and people that work there are fantastic !! I have been stress free living there and looking forward to our wedding in sept 2015 and our new baby girl in oct 2015. Life is great

The Apartments at Florin Hill are a HUGE step up from our place in the city! The buildings are kept clean and appliances in the apartment are up to date. We LOVE the open floor plan that allows for us to rearrange however we choose! The balcony is just enough room for a small table and 2 chairs, just right for the 2 of us! Having a pool and fitness room right here in the community is so convenient! We love our new apartment!! :)

I have live at Florin Hill for the last two years and going on my third. The apartment is amazing and the community is even better. They are very good with keeping tenents happy and service iis outstanding. I would recommend this complex to anyone!

We have been living in the Apartments at Florin Hill for almost a year and we have been nothing but happy! We are a young couple straight out of college with new jobs and Florin Hill is not only affordable, but convenient! Community members have access to an in-ground pool, work out center and beautiful walking trails and a fire pit. Best part is, we were allowed to keep our beloved dog for a very small price! The community is very well-kept and the residents, of all ages, are all very friendly! Maintenance is quick to respond and is very knowledgeable! We have nothing bad to say about Florin Hill and we will definitely be renewing our lease!

Excellent price, staff, location and amenities await you, and the location is perfect for easy access to major roads.

The apartments at florin hill are spacious and are located in a quite area. Living here is a joy, the area is so quite and the neighbour are all polite. We have a spacious 2 bedroom and 2 bath apartment and a car port. Located on the third floor we get a great view of the sky with our floor to ceiling windows. ( that have a child safety feature) The apartments are modern and are well kept. The staff here are very friendly and easy to talk to. I couldn't imagine an apartment complex that is quiter or located in a better location. Your secluded and there are stores and restaurants within walking distance. All utlites except electric included in our rent. As well as a fitness center, community room, and a heated pool!!! I have enjoyed living here the past 1 year and a half and see myself here several more years!!!

These apartments are modern and very spacious. A great and safe community to reside in. Maintenance does great with upkeep and property managers are easy and welcoming. Great views and a quiet community. The pool is great to relax at on the weekends or the park for a nice walk with your pup. The park offers a playground and giant sand pit makes, this a very family friendly neighborhood to live in!

The view. My husband wants to purchase a house but I don't want to leave!

We moved in 2010 to the Apartments at Florin Hill from our condo on Cape Cod Bay in MA to live closer to our grandchildren during our retirement years. From our very first appointment, we felt that the General Manager, Kathleen, was very pleasant, professional, helpful and welcoming. All our questions were patiently answered and our fears put to rest. Before deciding on Florin Hill, we checked numerous other apartment complexes in the Lancaster area. The Apartments at Florin Hill were by far the most impressive, and Kathleen was truly superior to other property managers we encountered during our search. We have been very comfortable being retired here, as the Florin Hill community is a peaceful and serene place to stroll around and reside. The grounds are kept in beautiful shape. The heated resort-like pool is a pleasant place to spend time. The athletic club has all modern machines with individual televisions attached. I know that management is at the ready to take care of any issues that arise. The current maintenance team has been exceptional and keeps the place in top-notch condition. Issues get resolved in a very timely manner. We enjoy attending occasional fun activities planned for the community. “Life is Good” here at the Florin Hill Apartments!

RENTER BEWARE!!!!!! We signed a lease to move to Florin Hill in July with the understanding from Kathleen the Property Manager and Kevin the Maintenance Manager that we could have Directv and change out all the appliances which included washer, dryer, stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, and microwave. They told that they could definitely accommodate us. We had even made a separate appointment with Kevin, the gentleman in charge of maintenance, to measure all the openings of the appliances so that would replace the appliances with ones that fit. Kevin had helped us figure out that we would have to stack our front loading washer and dryer so that it would fit in there closet where they have their cheap stacking washer and dryer.We drilled them on this since it was extremely important to us before signing the lease. They agreed to us replacing the appliances so we signed the lease in March for a July 11th move in. Then suddenly 3 weeks before we move in Kathleen the Property Manager tells us that we can no longer get Directv since they are having problems with the installer damaging their property. Keep in mind that we drilled her on this since we had a $380 cancellation fee if we didn't stay with Directv. Plus, we hated Comcast and didn't want them as our cable provider. Now, you would think if you were having trouble with an installer that you would then call a different one rather than getting rid of Directv all together. But who am I to use common sense. Anyway, we hashed this out with her over several days and they finally gave in and said that we can have Directv since we were on the third floor and there was already a satellite dish on the roof and we would be the last tenants that are able to get Directv. Fine, so we thought. Then miraculously, 2 weeks before we were supposed to move in Kathleen calls again and states that we can not exchange the appliances. Another agreement that she wanted to break after consulting with Kevin her Maintenance Manager. Keep in mind this is the second thing that we drilled them both on before signing the lease. Well, we told her that she would be breaking yet another promise that she had made to us and that we would definitely want to replace their cheap appliances since we want to stay there a long time of 5 to 7 years. Because replacing these appliances were such a big deal to us we even offered to have them keep our $5500 worth of appliances when we move out in 5 to 7 years. They made a huge deal of this to the point of having this huge meeting between Kathleen and Kevin and made us feel like we were being ridiculous about this situation even though they were the ones going against there word. Finally, they came back to us and said that we could exchange the appliances out but we would have to let them stay in the apartment when we move out. They then said that they would really like them to be Whirlpool appliances. We said that if we are paying for the appliances that we want them to be LG. Then, she agreed to let us have them and we said that we would like it in writing. So bottom line is they were going to let us exchange the appliances if we kept them there which was not part of our original agreement and the cost and loss of moving there became too great. Kathleen and Kevin are very friendly and accommodating before signing the lease, but everything changes once that lease is signed. Then everything that they do for you they make you feel like they are doing you a huge favor even though they may be going against their original word. DON'T BELIEVE A SINGLE WORD THEY SAY AND GET IT IN WRITITING. We ended up moving to another complex near by and got what we wanted in writing. Kathleen did end up returning our deposit for the apartment. Sadly, we had recommended a friend to move to Florin Hill that had made the same agreement as us and ended up still moving there, but is continuing to fight with Kathleen and Kevin over promises that were made.

After you've lived at The Apartments at Florin Hill you will realize why some people decide to live in the street. They state it is to be like a small town USA. What's the name of the town that's been burning for decades? ha ha ha. Streets are so narrow that parking on both sides is forbidden due to emergency vehicles not being able to get through the streets. Puts a strain on the relationship between homeowners and the apartment dwellers since there isn't enough parking. Hiking trails? Around two ponds and one has pine trees planted on the flat part of the 'trail' that you'd walk on. You slip-and-slide on the downward side when the grass is wet trying to get around the trees. If you don't slip on the wet grass you'd slip on the dog waste that is abundant since they fired the guy that removed it at least weekly and often more often. He also picked up the trash that is now abundant in the community especially with the winds of winter. Community is very, very dark - not enough street lights and many, many that are there are not working. An effort to save on the expense of electricity? They skimp everywhere else including the construction. When I lived there my entry area was always 50-55 degrees while I had to heat the living area to 70 degrees. Nail pops are abundant - why not use screws so you don't have that problem? CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP.
