Gray's Lake Park spans 167 acres with boat rentals and floating boardwalks, and art enthusiasts can explore the Des Moines Art Center or the Pappajohn Sculpture Park in Western Gateway. The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Flats on 5th
Would not recommend to anyone. The staff is not helpful and while living there , there was usually nobody in the office nor would they answer the phone regularly including the management company TWG. Experienced homeless people in the halls due to the doors being broken and often picking through the garbage. First day we moved in, our stove and ac/heat unit did not work and after putting in a maintenance request and calling the office multiple times, we waited 3 days before anyone even came. We called and reported mold and water damage in our apartment and we’re blown off multiple times even after someone( not a maintenance man but the original building contractor) confirmed it. Also while living there on the 1st floor in an “brand new” unit ,our windows leaked into the bedrooms during every rain storm and even a few tornados , and again after bringing it to management nothing was done about it. I could go on and on but overall it was just a bad experience and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.!
homeless people live in the hallways due to the doors being broken on the outside. lived here for 1.5 years and i had 3 attempted break ins caught on my ring. roach infestation due to nasty people living below me management does nothing about any problems you experience. please live anywhere else.
