Flats at Wildwood

I attempted to rent an apartment from Flats at Wildwood in Raytown MO. They performed a bait-and-switch, where the apartment they showed me was not at all like the apartment they tried to rent me. Cabinets and doors were broken, vents were hanging off of the wall, there was water damage in the bathroom cabinet and floor. Burn marks on the ceiling, broken windows, debris and broken glass on the patio. A dead bat in the living room. When they didn't fix those things, I returned the keys on 6/6/22, and they told me it would take 30 days (not business days) to receive a refund. Since then, they have not responded to any of my calls or emails. It's been more than 30 business days now, and almost two months, and they still won't give me my money back.

I think management is very caring about the residents and the property. Management goes the extra mile and I deeply appreciate it.

I've been here almost 9 years I've seen and experienced and seen the highs and lows. For the most part my relationships with the management has been good and respectful. Much is given as is received. Pandemic make it hard for new owners however with God's Grace and Mercy we will get a chance to form a more perfect union. Not in our time, but God's time

Not a bad community at all. Security patrolling in the night time would be apropos.Good to know about the new upgrades coming in the very near future and really looking forward to that.

My apartment looks nothing like the pictures that are posted. It’s outdated and maintenance is slow to fix stuff. In my experience the ladies in the office seem overwhelmed. They talk to people crazy and are not helpful. They also seem to get the accounts of their residents mixed up. They have cameras in the office but when my car was broken into they didn’t care. I’m not even sure if the cameras work or if they were just being lazy.

I had a good experience at Brittany Place I didn’t know how it was going to turn out but I actually felt in love with my apartment I can call to the office for anything Sherita was always willing to help for anything there wasn’t no question whatever needed fixed she was on it office manger was a good person over all

Brittany place apartments were the best seriously meaning everything was done when I first moved in , they replaced everything w new accessories everything was new . Also The Property Managers (Sherita and Candice) were so nice and helpful with my process .

This is my first apartment with my roomate and the ladies in the office made it very smooth sailing and made sure we understood everything. They are really nice. Me and my roomate love our apartment. We were kind of scared at first to move in but everything turned out really good. Hope it stays that way.

This is a hard review to make, because I liked some things about it, but the bad outweighed the good 10 fold, and management had no control of most the bad. (Forgot to mention, I lived their for three whole years.) The management staff is nice and friendly, never had a problem with them. Didn't live on Section 8, and paid almost 800 a month for rent, including pet rent/fees. For a three bedroom 1,000 sqft apartment, it wasn't bad. Maintenance is a little slow at fixing things, but he's a really nice guy and has a lot of apartments to tend to each day. The 2 stars comes from two big things... In Raytown, apparently parents DON'T THINK THEY NEED TO WATCH THEIR KIDS and don't care what they are doing outside of their view/control. You'll have kids knock on your door and run... Just about every other day. Sometimes more than once a day. They are rude and their parents... WHAT PARENTS? They could care less if their children exist and it would take them HOURS (if not days) to find out their kid was missing. They tear things up and are annoying The 2nd reason this gets two stars (I want to give them 1 star, but it's not their fault for this), is the crime. It is not safe to even let your kid play outside. I can show you a handful of police reports from different crimes, from both of our cars getting broke into (2 separate incidences) to our Neighbors WHOLE TRUCK being stolen. Neighbors got their cars broke into several times, both our cars, our neighbors truck was stolen, at least one apartment was broke into, stolen cars being dumped at our complex, and more. I had Dropcam Pro's in the windows, and can link you to SEVERAL recorded break ins and a white van stealing our neighbors really nice truck. Security comes by every few hours, but that's not enough. The bright LED security lights were added about a year ago, but that doesn't stop them from breaking into cars and stealing vehicles at 3 am. There are no cameras and management can't do anything for you if you are a victim. It's NOT an "IF" you will be a victim to criminals and kids (parents not knowing their kid is outside and the kid damages your car or something), it's a HOW LONG will it take before it happens to you. It's a terrible area. Management would have to add really good cameras and control who comes in and out of those apartments, before I'd ever live their again.

The living conditions are not that great....the water when takin a shower only stays warm for only 4 mins exactly (timed it). My car has been broken into within the complex recently. My window to my kids room was broken due to kids throwing rocks. The apt above makes a lot of noise and people hang out in the parking lot alot
