Situated near the confluence of the Yellowstone and Missouri rivers, Williston has been booming for centuries. It was a gathering place for the earliest people of the plains and a rendezvous point for fur traders and explorers. Today, Williston is home to Bakken Oil and many people working to make North Dakota the second largest oil-producing state. Williston also continues to honor the agricultural tradition.
Williston offers plenty of things to do, with a variety of historic attractions, outdoor recreational opportunities, and entertainment choices. Residents can go fishing and boating on Lake Sakakawea, practice their golf swing at nationally ranked golf links, peruse the exhibits at James Memorial Art Center, go fast at Thunder Valley Speedway Go-Karts, and learn more about the history of the region at Fort Buford State Historic Site or Fort Union Trading Post National Historic Site.

Rent is very high for the quality of everything. Old cheap appliances, beat up counters and floors since movin. No cameras in the hallway, the lighting in the apartment is terrible. Only 1 A/C in my entire apartment. Deck is not level. Also utilities not included in the already high rent.

It is a decent safe community that doesn’t include too many rowdy people and most people in my building don’t cause any issues. I’m not a fan of their billing for the water or utilities that they add in top of rent simply because there is no way for me to see how much I personally contributed versus what I am paying. The heating system works great in the winter but there is such a thing as too hot and my apartment averaging a temp of 82 degrees throughout Winter even with all of the space heaters set to not turn on is excessive.

I moved out due to family reasons. I was locked out of my account and told they needed to open it back up and would let me know when it was reopened so I could pay them. months went by and I was never notified until I got a voicemail saying that if I didn't pay it would be sent to collections. So I opened the account and there were a few more things there than were there originally. So I sent an email to see what all that was about and they never responded. I tried to go back in and check but I was unable to get back in and no-one was responding. They sent it to collections and these people were actually helpful. I can't recommend anyone ever use these apartments ever with theses issues.

The team at this complex will n Williston is top notch they do a lot of over the top things such as pizza night taco night ice cream night nice to see they value the residents that stay here.Williston has a few choices but in my time 4-5 years they have been great at appearance of the complex maint knowing us and our kids. I’ve seen a lot of neg stuff and heard of bad stuff about other complexes but never have I seen or heard one from this complex. They have always gone above and beyond on a constant basis. There has been some turnover but Morgan and her team have been amazing who we is doing the hiring process is doing great at keeping the right ones in and bad ones out.Thank you

I have lived here since May 15 and the staff has been very helpful with the move and any issues I have had concerning maintenance has been addressed promptly as well as effectively.

Fair Hills is one of the nicest apartment homes in the area. Moves are stressful, but Fair Hills makes it super easy! If you’re deciding between apartment homes, deeply consider Fair Hills. They were super easy to work with, very friendly, fast, & accommodating. The buildings are clean & regularly carpet washed, the complex is close to stores & gas stations, & family friendly. If I had to choose again, I’d pick Fair Hills every time, we love our apartment!

My everyday experience at Fairhills has been greeted with kindness and professionalism from both office staff and maintenance. The ladies in the office are knowledgeable and so kind. The two maintenance techs (Beth & Dan) have been exceptional! Couldn't ask for two better techs to take care of my maintenance needs! By far one of the best communities in the region!

The quality of my stay at fair hills is definitely in question. Between less than pleasant office staff and overwhelming police presence due to neighbors I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending this place to friends or family.
