Eton Square Apartments & Townhomes

I currently live in a two-bedroom unit and I would move out tomorrow if I could. Where do I start? Well there are several giant telephone poles in the parking lot, right in the middle of the way. Second, my apartment was leased to me with a faulty shower head, broken bathroom drawer, a cut-rate installation of the ethernet outlet, and the hallway smells like a high school boys gym. On top of that, the laundry machines require a separate card that you have to pre-load, rather than just accepting coins like everywhere else. Then, in my own unit, the first time it rained, water leaked from the outside, through the A/C unit in the master bedroom, and onto my bed, ruining the mattress. I returned home from work to a completely soaked bed. When I reported the issue to the landlord, they failed to fix it adequately. The next time it snowed hard, water came through again. Then, it happened a third time, and it took several days to fix. Because of their negligence, I asked for a rent reduction of $500 for one month, which the landlord refused, stating "that's not how we operate." This type of attitude is completely unacceptable. All I wanted was some accountability for my damaged property. They refused. I would have given this place negative stars if I could. I can't rate it lowly enough. I cannot wait to leave Eton Square. Shame on me for not doing enough research before agreeing to live here. I regret it every single day.

It’s my second year living in this apartment complex. I love the management team that is always eager to help, the maintenance staff that fixes any of our minor issues and of course, the location. There are so many awesome spots in a walkable distance - grocery stores ( Whole Foods, Kroger/Target), recreation & fitness centers (LA Fitness, yoga studios, tennis courts) and a bunch of other spots downtown Birmingham (beautiful Shain Park, restaurants and stores). I live in a townhouse which has a beautiful renovated design with a modern look to it. I also can oversee a diner across the street (from the patio) which is always full of people enjoying the neighborhood.

Perfect location! I’ve loved living in Eton square. Maintenance always helps super fast and they keep everything very clean. Friendly neighbors and great neighborhood.

Overall, great place to live. You are just a mile from downtown, neighbors are quiet, and new restaurants are right across the street. You can walk to a brewery or breakfast diner. You can also walk to whole food which is very convenient because they have an amazon return too! The space is also very unique and a good value. I feel like most places for rent kind of look and feel the same but this place is really different, lots of natural light to get you through Michigan winters.

The Eton Square management is a pleasure to work with. They are efficient, prompt, respectful and proactive in communications. Have always been able to reach them in a timely manner and everything is taken care of promptly and with high importance. I've been living here for 8 months and have really loved the property and neighborhood. The neighbors are friendly, respectful. Overall, a great place to live - I'd recommend.

My wife and I moved to Eton Square in Birmingham about 2.5 years ago & we can not say enough good things about our exceptional experience that they provide. Apartments and townhome quality boils down to two things: what kind of lifestyle you want to live and the customer service that the facility provides. First, the lifestyle that Eton provides is one of convenience with an ideal location where you are in the center of everything that you will need. Also, the affordability is unmatched compared to the surrounding area. You get the biggest bank for your buck with the size of the unit and costs that you pay. Second, the service that the Eton management and maintenance team provides is in a league of its own. They are personable, polite, responsive and get things down professionally. When it comes to repairs, snow removal or any small or big concern, they have always been there for us. I highly recommend Eton Square Apartments and Townhomes of Birmingham without reservation because they are simply the BEST! -Brad

I've lived here for 2 years and love it. On-site management and exceptional maintenance staff. Great size units, nice courtyards, fireplaces. The list goes on! And a great location in Birmingham. Highly recommended.

The staff are friendly and responsive! All my maintenance requests are answered in a timely manner.

This property has 3 people living in one-bedroom apartments who have lied on their leases to move in. Then, the property managers do nothing to resolve the issues. Moms (tenants) leaving small kids home alone at night, screaming kids running around. There are abandoned cars in the parking lot. Dominion does not return phone calls. There are still some respectable people living here, but not for long. Hopefully Dominion will get their act together.

I would like to start off by saying that my husband & I are so thankful for the Eton Square Management team; Rocky & Rhonda! We have been looking for a luxury townhome in Birmingham for months. The management team made the process so swift & easy. We moved in a few weeks ago & we are extremely happy with our townhome. Eton Square provides unparalleled customer service, beautiful living in a great community. Any small issue we had with a door sticking or getting wiring up to date was immediately taken care of. We are treated like family and not just tenants moving in. Thank you Rocky & Rhonda!

I'm confused by the other reviews regarding property management. My experience, over several years, has been that property management is extremely unwilling to work with their tenants in a reasonable way. Property management here generally places their own greed as a first priority over establishing good relationships with their tenants. Over the years, unfortunately, I have had to follow up with several requests and even hold rent before repairs were handled here.

My wife and I moved into Eton Square Apartments 3.5 years ago. We have had nothing but a great experience during our tenure. Rhonda and Rocky and the entire Management Team have always been so responsive and helpful. Any time we have issued a repair request they generally have been able to fix the issue on the same day. At one point we had an issue with our refrigerator. They replaced the fridge promptly to ensure we were not inconvenienced. We finally purchased a home as we needed more space, but we will leave behind a great experience and fond memories. Eton Square has been completely responsible/fair and my wife and I recommend renting through this group without question. Thank you Eton Square for a great 3.5 years!

We looked at several apartments in Birmingham and the Eton Square two -bedroom proved to be the best value. It's in a great location, is reasonably priced at around $1000 per month and best of all the apartment is in a beautiful mid-century modern building, with large windows and 12inch deep granite sills. The building maintenance is prompt and landscaping is beautiful. If you enjoy a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to restaurants and shops, with conscientious neighbors, professional and helpful building Managers, you'll Eton Square.
