Escena Apartments

Was transferring to Bend for work, Kelley S. listened to everything we asked for and chose the perfect apartment for us. Application process was easy, she walked us through every step and stayed in communication. Beautiful apartment and a really pleasant experience. Highly recommend the property and Kelley S as a leasing consultant.

We lived here for almost 4 years and did reccomended it. In the last year, it's been awful! They allow as many cars per household as they want, threaten to tow unregistered cars, and never do. Packages get stolen when not delivered properly. No maintenance people on sight and can take up to a month to get something fixed. It's awful don't move here.

Sara, Sharroll, and Ron are nothing but wonderful. They are attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. The apartments themselves are nice and well taken care of. They do annual inspections so they can make sure everything is in working order and if you have any issues then they can address them then. Most of the time you can never get ahold of the management of apartments but Sara, Sharroll and Ron are different. I can text them questions and usually within minutes, I receive a response. They are a great team and we are happy to be living here. -Rachel C.

Don't move here - they will rip you off big time. It's cheaply made and they are sharks. Charged me 10.5 hours for move out cleaning - ridiculous. I barely lived in this apartment, cleaned all the unusual things and all that was left was basic move out cleaning. The worst part - I specifically asked to be present for the walk through and they denied me that. Then, after their outrageous report, I asked to have a 3rd party walk the unit right away - again - denied. All that matters is turning over the unit and stealing your deposit. They will not fix stuff either - I lived for almost 1 year with the roof outside my bedroom rattling viciously when there was anything more than a breeze. They did a walk through in Spring so they could fix stuff - never did. We had a drawer where the front popped off and nails were sticking out of it, had to use it that way for 8 months. Don't rent here.

The management for this property was a terrible experience. Im In the traveling medical field so I travel quite often I’ve never had a bad experience with any housing at all. This apartment company is absolutely ridiculous. This is supposed to be a luxury apartment; upon move in there was paint scraped from the door entrance, the wood flooring was scratched up pretty bad, the carpet wasn’t clean at all. I took pictures the day I moved in just in case they tried to accuse me of prior damage. Yet, even after proof that damage was there prior they are still trying to accuse me of the damage. I was not giving a move in inspection nor checklist. If you would like to get a deposit back from this company you might have to get your attorney. Terrible experience.

Thank god my lease ended, I was finally able to move. This place is a joke. If you like overflowing trash areas, like smelling neighbors smoking cigarettes and weed, hearing people having sex below you or above your apartment, no insulation in the walls so you hear everything, traffic zooming by, hearing the new go kart race track across the street, college kids partying, residents not picking up after their pets, your wifi service being down for two weeks at a time, not enough parking, guests are not allowed to park on site, paying higher rent than they offer new tenant specials, then this is the place for you.

I am happy to have had the pleasure of renting at Escena and from Jewels, the property manager. She is the on site manager and every issue I’ve had has been promptly done. These apartments are probably some of the best in Bend. They aren’t a style you see often outside of a larger city. The floor plans are great and there’s plenty to do around the area. The overall quality is better than most that I’ve seen in Bend. From the tile countertops to the wood flooring in the kitchen, dining room, and bathrooms you can tell they went with higher quality in their building materials. Definitely worth the money!

Management here is so helpful, and they really try to make you feel at home. We got an 3 bedroom 2 bath and the floor plan is so spacious. We absolutely love the fire place and the kitchen is spectacular! They are also a dog friendly community witch was a huge plus for our fur babies. This has been the best apartment experience we have had! I would recommend them to anyone!

This apartment complex makes a lot of promises they can’t keep. Supposed to come with assigned parking.. never happened. Supposed to come with a gym and pool.. never happened. But are they going to reimburse for these things that we are paying for? Of course not. Also it is never cleaned.. the hallways, stairs and trash area is littered and swarming with flies. There is no where to walk your dog and no one cleans up after their pets and a high probability of that is the apartment complex supplies nothing as in dog bags or grass to walk our pets, it is supposed to be “dog friendly”. The noise is the worst. In the apartments you can here everything! All the other tenants and with closed in hallways it just amplify the noise. On every side of a apartment you can here other tenants. With a closed in hallway similar to a hotel you can hear the door open and close with a slam anytime someone leaves and hear every footstep down the metal stairs. The management that works and lives on the complex does nothing and just recommends finding your own solution. Everything broke when we moved in and they had to fix it but they do not fix anything anymore. The apartments were cheaply built and designed. If I could go back in time we would have found something else and can’t wait for the lease to be up. I highly recommend looking else where.

The community here is clean. Upkeep is wonderful. The management is friendly and prompt. Any matters are resolved quickly and professionally. For a complex that is still under construction (visibly) the noise has been next to nothing during appropriate hours. The workers have been respectful of the residents. We're anxious for the indoor pool and gym opening soon! The rent is comparable to others in the area considering the newness of the complex, security, quality and location of beautiful Bend. Overall a great experience.

Very nice apartment. Great amenities. Exceptional staff. I appreciate how Jewels and Noelle went the extra mile to make our long distance move go smoothly. I very much appreciate all they did. I would highly recommend Escena. Great place to live! I would give them more than 5 stars if I could.

DO NOT APPLY TO LIVE AT ESCENA APARTMENTS! We were told one week before our move-in day that an apartment would no longer be available. If you apply to live here, expect to pay for an apartment that they don't actually have.
