That changed rapidly, especially during the 2000s, when this coastal gem went from hidden to hot -- so much so that its population overtook that of Fort Lauderdale and is now roughly 180,000 residents. The "why" is fairly easy -- Port Saint Lucie features 21 miles of pristine beaches along Florida's east coast and it is the spring training home of the New York Mets. Add in the tropical climate, the golf courses, and its easy access to I-95 and the Florida Turnpike, and there's plenty to love about Port Saint Lucie.
Situated between Fort Pierce to the north and Jupiter Island to the south, your Port Saint Lucie apartment will provide easy access to several popular destinations. But with so much to do in Port Saint Lucie, you may not want to venture far from home.
