While Clovis is adjacent to Fresno, the town is more like a quiet pastoral suburb – you’ll notice a lot of horses and cattle roaming around on local ranches. More advantageous is the fact that Clovis and Fresno are located at the crossroads between northern and southern California. A couple of public transportation routes live in Clovis, but most people travel by car because of the significant network of accessible highways and state routes.
