Historia

-

The Trinity community in Pasco County, Florida was developed in the late 1980s by a man named James Gills. Trinity resides in New Port Richey, a city with a history dating back to 1911, when a portion of the area was purchased by The Port Richey Company of Brooksville, Florida. Within the same year, the Port Richey Northern Railway was constructed, followed by the development of several businesses along Franklin Street. By 1915, New Port Richey housed 100 residents, and the city continues to thrive today.

The Downtown New Port Richey Art Gallery provides art classes for community residents and hosts multiple exhibits featuring the work of local artists, gallery members and students. New Port Richey also hosts a variety of cultural events, with an all-time favorite being the Chasco Fiesta, a nine-day festival that celebrates Native American culture and features a boat parade, a carnival and a coronation ball.
