Located in South Charlotte, just 10 miles south of Uptown, Quail Hollow might be best known for its prestigious annual PGA tournament. However, residents of the area know there's much more to the neighborhood than that.

While the heart of the area can be described as largely affluent, the perimeter provides more affordable housing, shopping and dining. This diverse community offers all the amenities anyone could need and serves as a quality place to call home.

Historia

-

The Quail Hollow Country Club and Golf Course was designed and built in 1961 on what was once farmland located south of the city of Charlotte. Shortly thereafter, many of the original charter members built homes nearby. From the 1970s through the 1990s, the region continued to see rapid growth. Many of the original homes in the heart of the neighborhood are mansions valued in the millions, while much of the surrounding perimeter area consists of more modest homes, shopping and dining establishments.

Arguably the biggest annual event, the PGA stop at Quail Hollow, draws many thousands from all over the world to the city. Be prepared for the traffic during this time, and if you keep an eye out, you may just see a Tiger.

Charlotte Fine Art displays award winning pieces from artists across the country. In addition, weekly painting classes are held in the studio.
