Historia

-

The city of Maywood came into existence in 1924, and the population grew rapidly shortly after. The town takes pride in its parks and recreation department, and The Maywood Park played a big part in the area's development. Maywood does not have a lot in the way of festivals and events, as the city stays more focused on business and residences. Locals easily make their way to nearby Pasadena for a variety of annual events that occur all year 'round.
