Part of William Penn's original design for the city, Logan Square was first formed after the invention of the steam engine. It wasn't until the creation of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway that the community started to see a strong increase in population, with residents taking advantage of its centralized location.

Within this premier location, there are several museums, including the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Barnes Foundation, Franklin Institute and Rodin Museum. All available on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, these beloved attractions add a richness to the art life and culture of this community.

On Labor Day weekend, join the thousands of participants at the annual Made in America Music Fest for hours of live music from eclectic performers, or take your family to the Franklin Institute for the annual Philadelphia Science Festival, a nine-day celebration of science and community.
