Highland Park is a suburb a few miles north of Dallas and west of trendy Lower Greenville. The town is nestled right next to Southern Methodist University. The area is widely known as one of Dallas’ most upscale communities with luxury apartments and impressive houses and mansions. The area is very safe, highly walkable, and is home to some of the best schools in the state. This attracts families, but Highland Park is a great option for couples and singles as well.
Highland Park is filled with amenities for residents to enjoy. Known as the “Rodeo Drive of Texas,” Highland Park Village offers stylish designer boutiques, shoe stores, a posh movie theater with a full bar, and eateries from cuisines across the world. Highland Park Village is also next to the Dallas Country Club.
Central location is another allure for renters in this suburb. Residents have easy access to thrilling nightlife and entertainment in Lower Greenville and Uptown. Highland is also convenient to two airports: Dallas Love Field Airport and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. DFW International Airport is only 30 minutes away while Dallas Love Field Airport is only 15 minutes away on the outskirts of town.
