The ideal location for folks living DC’s fast-paced lifestyle

Commuter Airport Shopping Public Transportation Metro Parks

The lifestyle here is distinctly urban, with many corporate professionals living very close to where they work (the close proximity to the airport, the Pentagon, and Washington also makes the Crystal City community a popular choice for government employees and frequent travelers).

Folks around the DC area are familiar with the shopping centers here, particularly the famous subterranean Crystal Underground mall. Residents also enjoy easy access to several large public parks, including the scenic Long Bridge Park and Four Mile Run Park.

Crystal City sits in Arlington County, originally known as Alexandria County. The name was changed to Arlington in 1920 to avoid confusion between the county and the city of the same name. Due to its proximity to the national capital, you'll find many museums and memorials all around Arlington. In Crystal City, watch out for a museum and visitor’s center dedicated to the Drug Enforcement Agency as well as the Arlington Historical Society Museum located near S. Arlington Ridge Road.
