Love living at Avant! Fantastic Events!
I’m a TMUIC student and living at Avant has been really solid overall. The building is clean, quiet when it needs to be, and actually feels like student housing that’s taken care of. The rooms are modern and comfortable, and the common areas are nice spots to study or hang out. The location is a huge plus. It’s an easy commute to TMU/TMUIC, and there are tons of food places and transit options super close by, so it’s convenient for busy days. The leasing team here is really friendly and easy to talk to. Anytime I had a question Adrian, Paige and Alex, get back to me fast and are always helpful. It makes settling in a lot less stressful, especially if you’re new to the city. If you’re studying at TMUIC and want a relaxed, safe, and convenient place to stay, Avant is definitely worth it.

Modern building, great management, and perfect for students!
I’ve had a great experience at Avant. The building is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with amenities that are genuinely useful not just for show. The location is ideal for students, especially anyone attending nearby campuses, and there’s always something happening in the area. What really sets Avant apart is the leasing and management team. They’re responsive, professional, and genuinely care about residents. Any questions or concerns get handled quickly, and the move-in process was smooth and organized. You can tell the staff really take pride in the building and in making sure residents feel supported. Overall, Avant is a comfortable and reliable place to live. Avant has exceeded my expectations
Coming from far away, I was worried about making the big move and living alone for the first time. I chose Avant due to its great location, but I was unaware of just how much more I would gain from living there. Not only is the community close-knit, but the staff is lovely and always goes above and beyond. Paige has been extremely helpful in answering any questions I may have, both as someone new to Toronto and as a resident. The free monthly events have also been a huge bonus, and I was finally able go to my first Blue Jays game!

Paige, and everyone from the Avant team are extremely friendly and helpful. They all make sure Avant has a community worth living in, as every month there are different activities hosted to connect with your neighbors and the team. The place is well located, and it includes a variety of amenities, specially a big study room. The apartments are comfortable, and even more now with the new air conditioning units installed. During my year at Avant, I had few requests for maintenance which were solved right away, and whenever maintenance had to come into I would always get notice prior. Overall, if you are a student this is a good place to rent in Toronto.

Honestly the Best Spot for TMU Students
I’ve been living at Avant for almost a year now and I seriously couldn’t be happier with my choice. The apartments are fully furnished (huge plus when you’re a student and don’t want to deal with moving furniture), and everything is clean, modern, and super functional. The amenities are a game-changer—big study rooms for when you need to grind, a solid gym, and even a PS5 in the lounge. They also host free events every couple of weeks, which is such a fun way to meet people and take a break from school stress. Staff are super chill and always helpful whenever I’ve had questions or needed anything fixed. The location is unbeatable—I'm at TMU and can walk to class in under 10 minutes. It’s also super close to OCAD and U of T, so if you’ve got friends at different schools, it’s easy to meet up. If you're a student looking for a place that’s actually built for student life, Avant is 100% worth it.
