Make this cozy,spacious,and private spot your home away from home in Atlanta. Set well behind the main house and with woods in the back,you will have a quiet retreat in the middle of one of Atlanta’s best intown neighborhoods. This apartment has two full bedrooms perfect for roommates or for visits from family,spouses,friends and children while you are in Atlanta. The queen beds are comfy and each has a pillow mattress and high end bed linens. Both bedrooms have a private wooded view. The eat in kitchen is large and fully equipped with dishwasher,microwave,toaster oven,full size W/D,dishes,glasses,pots and pans,flatware,cooking utensils,and a new stainless steel refrigerator with ice maker. The gray and white tiled bath was totally renovated in 2018 and has a large linen closet. The living room is spacious,has beautiful natural light and a brand new 50 inch smart TV. There are hardwood floors in the living room as well as throughout the home.House is decorated with a light contemporary flair and has original art and brightly colored framed posters as well as black and white Ansel Adams posters. Virginia-Highland,or “VaHi” as it is known by local residents,consists of four distinct commercial “villages” connected by short,walkable blocks lined with charming bungalow homes. The neighborhood’s name derives from the intersection of Virginia and Highland Avenues and has the feel of a small town within the heart of the city. Locals and tourists alike mingle for brunch at charming sidewalk cafes,meals and drinks on comfortable patios and terraces,and cocktails at lively night spots. Discovering the unexpected is part of the attraction where you may find world- famous musical entertainment at a tiny nightclub,a viewing party at a recording studio,or a gathering of fascinating people at one of the area coffeehouses.
