Walk to downtown restaurants, the marina & Publix grocery store. Bike to Siesta and Lido Key Beaches. Airport just 5.2 miles away. The complex is outfitted with a large clubhouse, fitness center, lighted tennis court, hot tub, heated pool, BBQ grill, and private kayak launch pier. Sarasota Bay can be easily and quickly accessed via the Hudson Bayou located on the rear side of the property. The Inside Space: This is a ground floor unit, so there are no steps to climb. The unit sleeps 4 (2 on the queen bed in the guest bedroom, 2 on the king bed in the master bedroom). The unit includes: - One 65-inch Vizio high-definition flat screen TV (living room), - Two 50-inch Vizio high-definition flat screen TVs (One in each bedroom), - A queen sleep sofa, a queen bedroom set, and kitchen table. - Cookware, plates, glasses, linen, etc. - Keurig coffee maker The living room TV comes with free basic cable. The bedroom TVs do not offer cable programing, but they offer streaming apps so that can sign into your personal accounts (e.g., HBO, Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.) and watch your favorite shows. They also provide access to a slew of free programming offered by several content providers (e.g., VDU, PLUTO, BET, Classic Movie Channel, Paramount Movie Channel, etc.). Please note the following: - This unit come furnished; there is no option to rent it unfurnished. - This unit does NOT offer storage. The Local Area: Downtown Sarasota is the cultural, culinary, and nightlife epicenter of the city. Main Street is brimming with restaurants, cafes, and bars, in addition to specialty shops and boutiques. Downtown also contains artistic gems such as the Sarasota Opera House, Florida Studio Theatre, and McCurdy’s Comedy Theatre. Renting in Downtown Sarasota places residents within walking distance of the neighborhood’s exceptional commercial offerings as well as gorgeous spots like Bayfront Park, which touts panoramic waterfront views and scenic trails to explore. Downtown is convenient to other popular outdoor venues as well, including Payne Park and Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. The community is also just a short drive away from world-class beaches like Lido Key Beach, Siesta Key, and Longboat Key. Please note the following fees apply: * Application fee (also covers background check) - $150 *Cleaning fee - $150 * Refundable security deposit $750. Refunded if nothing is broken or missing when you leave. Renters leasing the unit beyond 2 months are expected to pay electric bill every month. Those who run the air conditioner judiciously typically see a bill of between $65 - $80 a month. Those who don't can expect a larger bill. The owner will show you the bill to verify charges. Water & cable are included at no extra cost. Rules: - No parties - No smoking - No pets of any kind - No RVs, buses, motorcycles, commercial vehicles, trailers, mobile homes, campers or boats. Cancellations: No cancellations for acts of nature (including Red Tide) unless property is rendered uninhabitable.
