Info about our place: You will have the entire first floor, about 1500 sq feet Traditional New England Colonial Farmhouse, in the family for 250 yrs Huge outdoor yard - 8+ acres of farm country Back yard patio Lots of storage space, safe quiet neighborhood, good lighting Wildlife abounds - Deer, fox, turkey and many others Seasonal things to enjoy on the farm flowers, fruit (grapes, peaches, apples, quince, maple syrup) Spacious Master bedroom with lots of windows Property manager next door, happy to help with any issues Great as corporate rental, all inclusive, 31 day stay or lease A review from our first short term tenant: "This apartment was a great place to stay during my time in Cumberland. The neighborhood was quiet, and the view from my deck provided visits from deer, wild turkeys, a variety of birds and an occasional fox. The grounds are beautiful in all seasons, and the manager is meticulous in his upkeep of the property. He is responsive to any maintenance issue which was comforting. I was provided access to a garage with an opener and that was great in the winter. The apartment was roomy, and storage was great. There are lots of cabinet space in the bright kitchen and baths....Overall, my stay at 8 Abbott Run Valley Road was pleasant - cozy in the winter and breezy in the summer. I'd rent here again if I could, should I return to the area."

Cumberland is a charming city in northeast Rhode Island. The city’s historical significance runs deep and is remembered today through the Monastery, a historical home for monks in the 19th century. This unique property resides on about 481 acres and now houses the Cumberland Public Library. Recreational trails were developed by the monks at the Monastery, known as the Nine Men’s Misery. Parks, ponds, and reservoirs are plentiful in the area, and more nature trails are available to the public, such as Diamond Hill Park Trail. Local pizza restaurants are abundant in the community, as well as a good variety of other cuisines like Angelo’s Palace Pizza and Davenport’s on Mendon Road. This family-friendly city is zoned into Cumberland Schools with a great variety of public schools for the residential youth.
