Rent kayaks and paddle across the harbor to Thatcher Island and its twin lighthouses. Bring bicycles to explore Cape Ann's countless seaside roads and pathways within easy riding from the house. A short 10 minute drive puts you in the heart of Gloucester the oldest fishing port in the U.S., and the setting for Sebastian Junger's bestselling book and popular film "The Perfect Storm."
