**Rented all summer & fall 2024. Available again starting in the winter.** **We are most interested in a scenario of renting to someone for a set 3 or so weeks out of each month of the year for those who want to be in / have access to Highlands year round and to allow our family use it some too. This would be ideal for someone who doesn't want to live in Highlands full-time, but wants to spend time in Highlands during all 4 seasons at one location on predetermined dates, keep things at the house between trips, and pay a very discounted rate compared to AirBnbs/hotels/etc. A large, locked closet would be available to leave things between trips. All utilities included with this scenario and would have first dibs on high season - summer 2025 months. We are also flexible on lease periods for a 1 to 6 month rental for those looking to be in Highlands for a shorter period of time (i.e. someone building/renovating a house, looking at property, someone who wants to be here during one season, etc). ** Property Details: Fully furnished, 3 bedroom, 2 bath chalet-style mountain cabin 10 minutes south of downtown Highlands. Location is a small, very quiet, 12-home mountain neighborhood with no immediate neighbors on any side. The majority of the home & exterior areas have been recently renovated. Oversized 30-ft covered outdoor deck with 15-foot vaulted ceiling with winter view of the mountains / summer views of the forest. Deck has gas grill, seating areas, and outdoor dining table & chairs. Property backs up to land trust with trails / exploring, and area that adjoins U.S. Forestry land. Large outdoor fire pit area, lounge area, stonework, bistro lights, cocktail/food serving area. Main living area consists of 15-foot tall wood ceilings, a large wall of windows overlooking the outdoors, wood-burning brick fireplace, original pine hardwood floors, dining area, two leather couches, and small kitchen. Two recently renovated bedrooms (both queen beds with new mattresses) and one bathroom (also renovated) with rainfall shower head. Basement level consists of open space including queen bed, couch, very small bunk room with bunk beds, laundry area with washer & dryer, and full bath.
